I wanted this because Mr Peabody barrels through my door shoving it open all the time. And the 2nd one to keep the bathroom door open a bit during showers. No bathroom fan? Crazy, right,? Anyhow. Pulling this product out of the package I was clueless. Instructions are not helpful. Luckily it is easy to figure out. It is quite stiff and I worried about that but it is awesome. My door is not shoved open constantly. Easy to remove from the door jamb and open the door. I recommend it. Great price

We have a new puppy and I was really struggling with how to keep her out of the cat food and litter box without having to make permanent modifications to my home. I didn’t have high expectations for these, but the reviews were good and the price was right, so I figured it was worth a try. They keep the large puppy out and are easy to use. My only small complaint is that if you are using them on a door that gets frequent use, they don’t always want to hang nicely on the doorknob when disengaged. Maybe this is less of an issue on a round doorknob versus my handle-style doorknobs.

I wish I'd known about this product years ago. This works well as it is wide enough for large cats and is sturdy enough to keep the door propped open but creates resistance that keeps out dogs. It's easy to pop it in and out with one hand. Love it.
