These are great cast iron pans. Having an induction cooktop, I have used different pans and decided to jump into cast iron for the consistency of cooking. As long as I let the pan heat up, let the oil or butter heat before adding what I am cooking then clean as directed and lightly oil when dried, I don’t have any problems with sticking. I do suggest investing in appropriate cast iron cleaning supplies so you do not soak. The correct cleaning supplies definitely lesson cleaning time and the urge to soak pan! You do not ever want to soak! If you get a stubborn spot, heat the pan with a bit of water like sautéing and use provided pan scraper. Buying another company cast iron cleaning supplies has let me avoid this step and keep the pan looking like new! As my hubbie and boys do not want to do the 5-min of cleanup, I keeps few older non-cast iron pans that I will let go into dishwasher lol

We like this set, though the pans do need some extra seasoning. Once seasoned, they are relatively easy to clean and keep in good shape. The large one is heavy (it is cast iron, after all) but the smaller ones are easy to handle. The rubber handles are nice but the pans still get hot, so I use a pot holder, as well. The divot in the rim makes it easy to pour grease out of the pan while holding browned hamburg in the pan with the lid.

I’ve used 1/3 my cast iron pans a couple times of times and I absolutely love it! It sears my food just like I wanted. You WILL have to season it yourself but you’ll definitely see the benefits of the seasoning in your food and in the upkeep. I highly recommend this brand and the included handle holders come in handy
