I selected this ukulele assuming that a German company using Aquila strings will have better quality than an unknown Chinese brand. My confidence was misplaced as the attached photograph shows-- the back of the brand new ukulele is coming apart from its sides straight out of the box. I have written to the email address in the pamphlet included in the box but there has been no response from Cascha, the manufacturer. This leads me to believe that Cascha does not stand behind its products, and prospective buyers would do well to keep that in mind. UPDATE: I waited nearly four weeks for Cascha to respond to my email, but it was an exercise in futility. Thankfully, Amazon came to the rescue and arranged for a return of the defective item. So my tip to prospective customers is to carefully examine your product immediately upon arrival since there is no expectation of support from the manufacturer. Or better still, choose a different brand that stands by its products. ... show more
