I was looking for cookware that was nontoxic and free of PFAS and PFOA to replace my traditional nonstick set. The Carote cookware caught my eye and I kept holding out to get the best deal possible. I really liked the ivory but ended up settling on the black. They are beautiful and lightweight despite the thicker bottom. They heat evenly, perform nicely, and they are easy to clean. They are well-made and will last a long time, as long as you take good care of them and read/follow the instructions and guidelines. It seems like everything I’ve cooked has turned out better and tasted better. When I received the set, the rim was bent on the lid for the saute pan. I emailed Carote and sent a photo and they immediately sent me a replacement lid. They were super nice, professional, and responded quickly to my request. Overall, I am happy with the product and support I received, and I would definitely buy again and recommend to others.

We are so happy and pleased with these, I even turned around and ordered my Mom a set and she loves them too. They are the easiest to clean - ever! We have cooked several different meals, including chili and spaghetti and they still came clean right away without any discoloration. I wish I would have bought my Mom the bigger set that had the protectors in them. We wish we would have known about these a long time ago. I don't know how they do it but they look nice, cook well and are outstanding!

I love this cookware. I have a propane tank for the stove so I needed something that could handle the heat better than my old cookware as it seems propane burns a bit hotter than gas. This set filled the bill and the heat distributes evenly throughout the pans. You have to be a bit careful with the placement of the handles as they should not be over direct heat for very long. The handles (made of Bakelite) will blister. I have used them in the oven (max 375F) but I wrapped a couple of wet paper towels around the handle and then wrapped that with aluminum foil to protect them from the heat.
