I love all of my CAROTE pots and pans. This was my third set for myself, and I bought one set as a gift for a bridal shower. I wish I had noticed they were not removable handles but that’s my own lack of reading. 😅 The only reason I took one star away also is partially my own fault/error, but I have burned my hand twice on this handle. The heat guard does not go all the way down the handle and the metal is just about the same thickness. When I am carrying a heavy/full pan, I hold it closer to the bottom of the handle for more stability and keep forgetting it’s not covered. Again, primarily something preventable but not my favorite design due to the burn blisters I’ve received when using the pans. The pans themselves are great quality, especially for the price. The color is exactly as pictured, they are veryyyy non-stick and easy to clean…but I personally regret purchasing this exact set. I wish I could return them for a removable handle set (easier to store for my family) and quit burning myself. 🥲

This cookware set arrived without any damage or defects. It comes "unassembled" meaning the handles and knobs are not connected. Which was a first for me involving cookware. I guess that maybe it's a way to have less waste, using a smaller box, but it felt very DIY to me, and not in a good way. Besides, even if the purpose was to ship in a smaller box, why couldn't the knobs come attached to the lids? They do supply the screw driver needed and the assembly is pretty intuitive. It is in fact non-stick I find, though I never hold anything claiming to be non stick long term very seriously, so my hopes are never high there, but so far so good. I would have preferred the bottom be a stainless steel type matieral than the gray painted over "whatever" material. Would have looked better, and my guess is it would last longer, looks wise anyway. I wouldn't pay more than 60$ for these.

I have been pleasantly impressed with this useful set of Carote ceramic cookware. I found it a bit surprising that the pot handles and lid knobs arrived detached from the pots, but soon found that all were straightforward and easy to assemble, even by me! This set of three encompasses almost every basic pot I use when cooking on the stovetop. I was particularly happy to receive these, as I favor ceramic cookware and have replaced my old non-stick pans (the dark, easily scratched, toxic-chemical-emitting kind) with these genuinely non-stick, non-toxic, PFAS-free ceramic beauties! I am constantly using the 19” frying pan, with our without it’s lid. The deep-sided saute’ pan I also like, especially for braising and for making thick stews. And the saucepan covers most everything else! I have found these to heat quickly and evenly. I do add a little oil, butter, broth or other liquid to the pan when first setting it on the heat, rather than heating the pots dry. I do that with my heavy enameled cast iron Dutch ovens and pans, as well; it protects the integrity of the pans and preserves their coating. I enjoy cooking with these. The lids in particular are cool. Their silicone seal really makes thorough contact with the rim of the pot, so what’s inside stays inside, unless you wish to set the lid so that the pour spout is unsealed, or the drainage filter is open for business. I love that for draining steamed vegetables and pasta, in particular. I do find that the handles remain cool enough to hold without discomfort, regardless of how hot the pot itself has become. I also appreciate the included spoon and spatula, neither of which will scratch the ceramic coating of these pans. Finally, talk about non-stick! Food slides out of these and clean-up is the job of a moment or two, no more. This fact alone makes these a great buy! I chose the green, which is a soft, lovely shade. This set is wonderful! The only other stovetop pot I’ve yet to get in non-stick ceramic is a nice tall stock pot. That will come! This set would make a great present for someone’s first apartment, for your lakeside cottage or woodland getaway, or for anybody who needs to replace their old toxic non-stick pots and pans! This is a worthwhile buy, a fine product line at an excellent price.
