I was very excited when I got this set. I had read reviews and even had a friend with this set and loved it. Reviews were great. I purchased this on August 17, 2024 and received it a few days later. I was excited to open and get to using. They are definitely nonstick BUT on January 1, 2025 when I pulled out a pan to cook with… the rim was peeling! I only hand wash these pans and did not notice the peeling on the previously use. I immediately contacted the company and was told that it appears the pan has been cut. You can clearly see the picture, it’s the rim and it has not been cut. I have never used anything sharp in these pans, only rubber/silicon. The company is going to replace that one pan but said “to be clear, this will be the only replacement” and “cuts in pans are not covered under warranty”. So frustrated to be told I’ve cut the pan, when clearly that’s not the issue. Who cooks on the RIM on a pan? Please do your research about the product as well as the support team and what is/isn’t covered under warranty. Again, the pan is very good at not sticking but I’m disappointed that in less than 5 months, the pan is messed up. UPDATED FROM A REP: I find this response very rude, this is copied from an email the Carote Rep sent me: Going by your pictures, if it wasn't a hard item, it wouldn't have produced such a bad break at the edge at all, would it? Thank you for your information provided, we will arrange the shipment and send you tracking number within 3 business days. Thank you for your waiting. Best regards. This set is really nice! The quality and durability make it a good value buy....The lids match to fit perfectly on all the pots and pans...The handles are truly burn resistance and heat durable....No need for oil use at all...I have noticed there is not a stickiness....It was a lighter pink than I had anticipated....They all fit nicely together stacked for good storage capacity....However, when I cooked sausage, it turned my pan brown...I now have several brown circles that are stained...That is why I give it 4 stars...
