The bike was easy to assemble but follow the steps as they are given, do not try to go ahead on your own, I latched the handlebar closed and then had to open it to tighten it. As someone else said, it is hard to put the nuts on the top two bolts for the basket, I still somehow attached them and they hold. Overall very clearly given instructions. The bike started right away, however the instructions were not so clear here. The handbook says press the on/off button at the control panel, but there's no such button there. You need to turn the ignition key to the next position, and the position symbols are not clear at all there. So then the panel came on, at this point, there is no speed switch or indicator. I took it to the supermarket and back (the basket worked very well), and I can say the speed does not exceed 10 mph. The battery was more than half full. It is very comfortable, more than the $900 bike I have which doesn't have a rear suspension. The suspension works very well and all bumbs are very smooth. The brakes work very well, without any adjustment. However the acceleration and speed are not as high as bigger e-bikes, so don't expect to keep up with the cars. I am 5'6" and you also need to get used to your legs being in a crouched position vs bigger bikes. The other point is about the ignition/start-stop. This key is under the feet platform, on the battery. You mostly have to fumble to find where the key position is to put your key in and start the bike, and it's hidden at this stage so you just guess the direction you need to turn it. But I guess this needs to be on the battery and there's nowhere else to put the battery.

My mailbox is quite a ways walking distance from my house and here in Texas - it’s just way too hot to make that track! This scooter came in a clutch! It’s just the right size and it has a basket! It also has several other safety features like a bright headlight (switch powered), bright and visible tail/brake light, front and rear disc brakes and a locking ignition (comes with 2 keys). But Caroma didn’t stop there! The scooter is comfortable with a smooth ride due to the thick rubber tires and dual shocks. Rolling over a bump is smooth and soft. Delivery was quick and the scooter was packaged tight and protected. The scooter is primarily put together, only leaving you to attach the handlebars, seat and basket and it comes with all the tools you will need to assemble and a pouch to store them in. The few ‘blah’ issues I noticed is the placement of the ignition is a little difficult to maneuver seamlessly and I have noticed that when riding into the wind, the scooter struggles to maintain speed. Overall, it is a great scooter for the price. If I were to purchase another one, I would get a higher wattage.

Its really amazing how useful this is. I originally bought it for my daughter who does not like standing on a scooter. Not only she likes it and uses it a lot, I use it for some grocery shopping. Bucket in the back makes it so easy to carry stuff. It is very sturdy with me weighing close to 200 lbs and me carrying close to 50 lbs of stuff from store, it was able to go up the hill at 15 mph. Range wise, I do not know how long it will last but I have ran it for atleast 20 miles and it still was showing me 2 bars. Its very easy to use with disc brakes, it is very easy and safe. It has enough power to go fast enough that I can use it for getting groceries from 4 miles away but is not very fast that I feel scared with kids using it as well. Height can be adjusted and my son uses it as a electric scooter and prefers standing. Only thing I can think of that can be added is Speedometer and Odometer like in some of the ebikes.

This a fun little scooter to provide some independence for my 14 year old with special needs. The basket is very convenient. The price is great then there's the cost of shipping which is about the same as the price of the scooter. There is one major design flaw in my opinion. To engage the scooter thee is a key. Unfortunately the placement of the key is a major design flaw. It is located at the bottom in the area where a stand would be. My son tipped the scooter and it fell over bending the key. This has happened more than once. The bent key then makes the scooter no longer operable. Included with the scooter are 2 keys. I had to make a new key. You can't go to Jome Depot, Walmart, or any other place with a key machine or a pwrson to operate the key equipment. I had to go to a specialty key place (thisbkey shop duplicated keys for cars, boats, etc). Otherwise it is a fun little scooter with adequate power. The battery life is short and several times my son has pushed the scooter home.

DO NOT DO IT! Where do I start!? Scooter came DIRTY! Dirty! Dirty tires and floor board if you will. That’s the first thing secondly, no basket which isn’t a huge deal but… the basket has the taillights on it! The plug in for the taillights just hangs because no basket! Charged this scooter all night to be sure it had a good charge, I’m 150lbs and it quit while Inwas going up a small grade! The customer service number is Chinese or something and Amazon is helpless. Zero customer service from anyone. Guess I’m just gonna have to eat this one! Don’t do it!!! 👎🏻

So far very pleased and assembly was pretty easy. 2 screws for upper part of basket is tricky and the front reflector when installed cannot face forward so ordering reflective sticker. It’s easy to operate and comfortable for my disabled daughter to take to work, which is only 1/3 mile and she can room around the neighborhood. Not sure on distance yet for a single charge and not designed for bigger people (6 feet or taller).
