It works like it should. 4 star only because the 3 wheels on the bottom make it unstable and easily tips on bumps and ruts in the floor. We made it own adjustments to it.

If your comparison is against hand milking, this thing is pretty nice. However, if you've ever used professional milking equipment, it's not so good. Pros - 1. adjustable vacuum regulator with gauge gives you good control to prevent teat damage. 2. the pulsator works well, providing decent milkout. 3. the wheels are decent, if you're on a smooth, solid floor. Cons - 1. The vacuum reserve tank is too small, so if you get an air leak (such as while attaching the cups) it loses vacuum very quickly. 2. The milker inflations (the rubber liners for the teat cups) are way too stiff. Because of this they tend to leak a little air as the udder empties. 3. I'm not sure if it is a problem with the claw or the inflations, but the cups don't shut off when laying out. Combined with the small vacuum reserve tank, this means you must use the (thoughtfully included) plugs every time you attach this (plug three cups, attach the first then pinch off the next before taking out the plug and quickly attach to the teat; repeat). All in all, it's better than the smaller battery powered units, but nothing like a Surge or DeLaval unit.

Easy to assemble, easy to use, milks out my Jersey cow 2 gallons in 5 minutes. Easy to clean. We had one issue with the bucket that was sent and customer service went above and beyond to make it right. Would definitely buy from this company again.
