This Carolina 8" heavy duty work boot offers serious protection and built to last. It features an internal metatarsal guard for secure protection, along with a steel safety toe cap that meets robust ASTM F2413-18 safety standards. The upper is made from Briar Pitstop leather, backed by a DRi-LEX lining to help manage moisture. Comfort is addressed through a memory-foam pillow cushion insole and a stable insole board made with Radiantex. The boot also includes Kevlar welt stitching that enhances durability and heat resistance. Underfoot, a steel shank provides structural support, while a Vibram outsole is designed to resist high temperatures for use on hot surfaces. Additional safety comes from its electrical hazard rating, offering protection in environments with live electrical components. Proudly union-made in the USA with global parts, this boot combines dependable safety features with rugged construction for demanding work conditions.

These boots feel like it is broken in and ready for use. right out of the box these boots feel like a broken in baseball glove, they are ready to be worn the whole day of work and not kill your feet. I have had a few other types of metatarsal work boots and these are the best overall fit, materials and last the longest. You can tell the quality difference with these and other work boots. I bought this exact same pair directly from carolina boot co... and this pair I recieved seemed to be much cheaper and lighter duty material but same high price. NOT A HAPPY CONSUMER!!!
