For some reason, I didn't want to like them better, but I have to say, the caran were superb and so smooth and surpassed the quality of prismcolor. They were a joy to use. Caran d'Ache in my opinion are top of the line colored pencils. The colors are vibrant and glide on my pastelmat. They are expensive, but worth it.

I know these are considered some of the best quality colored pencils, and I do love Caran d'Ache Neos, but I didn't think their colored pencils were any better than the more affordable Prismacolor Premiere brand. Personally, I prefer PP because I think they're softer and more vibrant.
