These are excellent refillable pencils. I needed these as I picked up some crossword and fill-in puzzle books for summer, and the paper in them is like newsprint thin, so not great with ink. These are the perfect solution and never require me to go hunting for my pencil sharpener. The eraser end is removable to load in the pencil lead, so refilling is simple. The pencils write very smoothly, and I haven't broken a lead yet. The triangular shape is comfortable in my hand and against my fingers (very welcome for me as I have rheumatoid arthritis & really value a smooth handwriting experience). Absolutely love these pencils. They write smoothly and the eraser erases pretty well. Thick pencil is good for my larger hands. Also love the thicker lead. It has yet to break on me.

I like the larger size. Easy grip for anyone. Extra lead. The eraser doesn’t erase well at first, but after you break them in and get the outer layer off, they erase good. Good for kids who have trouble gripping the thinner #2 pencils. The lead is thick and does not break easily! Good buy.
