Description

Pentel is committed to quality, is known for innovation and is responsible for the development of many of the writing instruments in use around the world today. Pentel first introduced 'automatic pencils' in 1963, beginning a long tradition of developing some of the most diverse, long-lasting and highly treasured mechanical pencils on the planet. The Twist-Erase family of mechanical pencils continues the tradition, offering a diverse selection of features tailored to meet the needs of consumers. Twist-Erase mechanical pencils are available in a wide range of barrel styles and diameters. Whether you prefer the side advance function of Twist-Erase Click, the luxurious feel of Twist-Erase III or the extra-soft ribbed grip of Twist-Erase GT, you will find a model that works for you. Twist-Erase III, Twist-Erase Express and Twist-Erase Click all feature a protective tip that stabilizes lead to reduce lead breakage. Mistakes are no match for the larger-than-ordinary and long-lasting twist-up eraser. No smudges, no paper tears and no ghosts with this latex-free eraser, which is refillable on most models. Every Twist-Erase mechanical pencil comes pre-loaded with Pentel Super Hi-Polymer HB lead. Super Hi-Polymer lead is the #1 selling lead in the world. It never needs sharpening, is super strong and produces a clear dark line every time. HB lead is similar to the lead found in a #2 pencil and is designed for seamless scanning across all test platforms. Twist-Erase mechanical pencils come with latex-free grips in a variety of styles for maximum comfort and control. Twist-Erase mechanical pencils are available in various diameters from 0.5mm up to 0.9mm (depending on model). Here are some guidelines to help you select the right diameter for you. Keep in mind that you can't put 0.7mm lead in a 0.5mm pencil or vice versa, so it's important that you choose the right pencil for your needs.

    • Best Value Set for Students and Note-Takers
The Pentel Twist-Erase Click pencils have become a favorite in our house — my kids won’t use anything else, even after trying some of the more expensive brands. The 0.7 mm lead writes smoothly without much breakage, and the grip is comfortable for long writing sessions. The eraser design is the real standout: it twists up easily and lasts far longer than the typical small eraser caps you find on most mechanical pencils. This bundle is also a great value. It includes extra erasers and three full tubes of lead refills, so we’re stocked for the school year. Honestly, when my kids run out of erasers, it’s often cheaper to buy this entire set again rather than purchase refills separately — and since everyone wants their own color, that works out perfectly. Pros: Smooth, consistent writing with minimal lead breakage Long-lasting twist-up erasers Comfortable, non-slip grip Excellent bundle value with plenty of refills Cons: Eraser refills can be pricey when bought on their own Bottom line: Reliable, well-designed mechanical pencils that outperform more expensive options. The quality, comfort, and included extras make this pack an easy choice for students and anyone who writes often. ... show more

    • My favorite pencils!
They are my favorite pencils! They write really smoothly, the led doesn't break, you can twist it back into the barrel of the base, the erasers are terrific and I love the colors! They're such a good value because they last so long and you don't need to worry about sharpening them. I've bought many sets of these pencils and they are consistent with quality. they are also very comfortable to hold. ... show more

    • Good quality, lead is snug, comfortable in the hand.
These are good pencils. The 0.7 leads fit snug as they should. They are comfortable to grip. The lead advance being by your finger is less intrusive to use than the ones with the top push down for lead advance. The twist to extend and retract eraser is nice, lasts fairly decent time and can be replaced. I do have issues with the eraser turning one way or the other as I erase but its not that big of an issue. I draw with the pencils and they work great for me. I have tried many types and brands of mechanical pencils. These are very good. Price for value is excellent. An easy recommend. ... show more

    • This mechanical pencil is a "must have."
I would never be without this mechanical pencil. It is the best mechanical Pencil I have ever used, and I don't think there is a better lead-writing instrument on the market.

    • Excellent Quality!
Review Image by Sunshine_family
Typically when I buy new mechanical pencils, they don't last as long as I would hope for. However, these Pentel Twist-Erase Click Mechanical Pencils have been used and lasted for quite a time! As a student, mechanical pencils are very necessary doing homework, writing notes, exams and more. I was able to use the Pentel Twist -Erase Click Mechanical Pencils for the entire year. The Pentel 0.7 mm lead which comes with the mechanical pencils, are such great quality as well. I only ever had to purchase the Pentel Twist-Erase Click Mechanical Pencils once in a while! These mechanical pencils may be a bit more costly, but for sure amazing quality. ... show more

    • Lots for the Price, A Brand You Can Trust
Both my husband and I like these pencils for puzzles. The lead doesn't seem to break in the .07mm pens. This eliminates frustration and also makes the leads last longer. It comes with six pens in several color choices in the package and with extra erasers and leads. These pencils should last a long time and see us through many puzzles before we may need more. I like the fact that the erasers are adjusted with just a twist of the pen. They are easy to use, easy to refill, and the lead is dark enough for easy reading. I have always used the .05mm pencils because they are usually thinner for small hands, but I find no difficulty using these. They are not that much larger to hold on to and the push-mechanism near the point for forwarding the lead is easy to reach and use. ... show more
