The 0.9mm lead is a big advantage — it writes smoothly and doesn’t snap constantly like thinner lead does, which makes a huge difference during class and homework. What we like: Smooth, dark writing that looks clean and consistent on paper. Thicker 0.9mm lead means fewer breaks, even when he presses harder while taking notes. Comfortable grip, which he really appreciates during longer assignments or when he’s working through math problems. Built-in eraser works well and doesn’t smear. Good variety of colors — not a big deal, but he likes being able to tell pencils apart. Great value for a pack of five, especially since pencils tend to disappear throughout the school year. Overall, these pencils are durable, reliable, and easy for him to use every day.
