    • A good buy
Color: Glossy Zebrawood Ac/Elec Tenor
Review Image by Chris Topher
This is a decent little ukulele. It’s only my 2nd but for the price I couldn’t be more pleased. The quality is much better than my Kala. The finish is thick, but evenly applied.I think it affects the tone a bit but it still sounds great for $100. The zebra pattern is gorgeous. I restrung it with some low G strings. It’s holding a tune well. It plays much nicer than my Kala too the fretboard is more comfortable and spacious. ... show more

    • LOVE IT
Color: Glossy Zebrawood Ac/Elec Tenor
Replace the strings when you get it with nicer ones. I had one pop pretty quick. It's a nice ukulele, surprisingly nice for the price. All the accessories were really helpful too. The tuner works well, the small batteries hold up. Plugged in, it sounds great. I've smacked it in a door frame so far and it seems durable enough. ... show more

    • AWESOME UKE
Color: Glossy Zebrawood Ac/Elec Tenor
Outstanding! This Uke is worth so much more than I paid for it. My daighter is a real pro, and she says it plays like a dream. I was worried that such an economical UKE would have a cheap pickup, but this little baby has amazingly good sound. It is a beautiful instrument and there is absolutely nothing I can find wrong with it at all. Set up was perfect out of the box. NICE JOB Caramel! ... show more

    • Amazing Instrument!
Color: Glossy Zebrawood Ac/Elec Tenor
This is an amazing instrument for the price point! Unplugged, it sounds remarkably good. I’m knocking off one star because the strings started to split within two weeks of moderately light playing. I’ve owned dozens of ukes in the last 16 years and have never had strings split like this. That will be an easy fix, but it’s a little irritating that I have to do that on a brand new instrument. ... show more

    • What you will get for your money.
Color: Glossy Zebrawood Ac/Elec Tenor
Well, I have 4 Caramel ukulele's now. I want you to know that these Caramel uku's are the best ukulele's I have played with. I have a total of 10 ukulele's and most of them cost more than my Caramel's, That's odd these days when the one's that cost the most don't sound near as good. I cant say enough of ( good things ) about The Caramel ukulele's. Ya know, my money's the only thing holding me up, cause If I had the money, I would get a few more ! I want a 26 inch ( tenor ) Zebrawood with the High Gloss. It's beautiful and I'm sure it sounds as good as it looks. The price is more than fair, I just don't have the money right now to order one . My son is very ill and I am trying to take care of him and all said an done, I just cant afford one - but when I can, I will purchase a 26 inch Zebrawood Caramel ukulele. Great quality ! Even the strings are different. You wont be sorry, you'll be glad you did ! Way to go Caramel ! Love you guy's. ... show more

    • Excellent Ukulele Value
Color: Glossy Zebrawood Ac/Elec Tenor
This is an excellent tenor ukulele even at this modest price. The Zebrawood finish is stunning and the overall craftsmanship is very good. The sound is surprisingly rich and projects well. It plays easily. Fret board action is very good and the built in tuner is handy and accurate. This ukulele stays in tune. Once tuned after a day or 2, only minor adjustments were needed. The gig bag is marginal, it will keep the Uke from getting scratched but it's limited protection. I'll likely upgrade the case. I tried a couple of other ukuleles at a music store for more than double it's price and they didn't come close to the sound and playability of the Caramel. Highly recommended. ... show more

    • I love this Ukulele
Color: Glossy Zebrawood Ac/Elec Tenor
I bought the "Caramel 26inch CT103 Zebrawood High Gloss Tenor Electric Ukulele Professional" three months ago. This has a laminated top and a adjustable truss rod so I figured it would be a nice one to learn a bit about the electric sound. I play it every day now, unplugged. I seriously love this instrument. It plays well, tunes easily, is wonderfully made and to my ear it has a nice a sound as any ukulele I have heard. I may have lucked out and got the instrument made by the right luthier with the right wood on the right day. ... show more
