This is an excellent tenor ukulele even at this modest price. The Zebrawood finish is stunning and the overall craftsmanship is very good. The sound is surprisingly rich and projects well. It plays easily. Fret board action is very good and the built in tuner is handy and accurate. This ukulele stays in tune. Once tuned after a day or 2, only minor adjustments were needed. The gig bag is marginal, it will keep the Uke from getting scratched but it's limited protection. I'll likely upgrade the case. I tried a couple of other ukuleles at a music store for more than double it's price and they didn't come close to the sound and playability of the Caramel. Highly recommended.

I teach several instruments and play live shows all the time. This ukulele is an amazing deal. It sounds richer than you might be used to though. Most ukuleles are very bright but this is a bit less shiny. Most tenor sizes are a bit darker than concert sizes but this one is even more so. The bag is sufficient but the padding is a little thin for me. I travel with the uke quite a bit between performing and teaching. So, I bought the Gator Tenor bag... which is just a tad tight for this but it works. The built-in tuner is very nice! It's very easy to see and accurate compared to the Fishman Kula on most ukes. One minor issue... it uses CR2032 batteries. These are annoying, but they don't add as much weight to the bottom of the uke. They were kind enough to add two extra batteries, though. Thanks! Plugged in it sounds like most piezo bridge pickups. It's a win for the price... I have some $400+ ukes and this is the one I play most of the time.

This is an amazing instrument for the price point! Unplugged, it sounds remarkably good. I’m knocking off one star because the strings started to split within two weeks of moderately light playing. I’ve owned dozens of ukes in the last 16 years and have never had strings split like this. That will be an easy fix, but it’s a little irritating that I have to do that on a brand new instrument.

Imagine my surprise when I opened the box all this stuff was inside! The ukulele is absolutely gorgeous zebra wood with a high gloss finish! Closed tuners, strap pegs and a three band EQ, volume control and built-in tuner! But it's all of the extras that make this such a great buy! The uke comes with a gig bag, strap, an extra set of strings, replacement batteries, polishing cloth, plastic picks, 2 replacement bridge pins and a patch cord for an amp! Plus a really cool product manual! What's there not to love! It is a perfect addition to my line-up of other ukuleles!

Well, I have 4 Caramel ukulele's now. I want you to know that these Caramel uku's are the best ukulele's I have played with. I have a total of 10 ukulele's and most of them cost more than my Caramel's, That's odd these days when the one's that cost the most don't sound near as good. I cant say enough of ( good things ) about The Caramel ukulele's. Ya know, my money's the only thing holding me up, cause If I had the money, I would get a few more ! I want a 26 inch ( tenor ) Zebrawood with the High Gloss. It's beautiful and I'm sure it sounds as good as it looks. The price is more than fair, I just don't have the money right now to order one . My son is very ill and I am trying to take care of him and all said an done, I just cant afford one - but when I can, I will purchase a 26 inch Zebrawood Caramel ukulele. Great quality ! Even the strings are different. You wont be sorry, you'll be glad you did ! Way to go Caramel ! Love you guy's.

I am sooo in like with this uke!! When it's plugged in to the amp, it's bright and crisp. When it's unplugged and being played as an acoustic, it's smooth and mellow. Feels good in my hands, too, with a beautiful, high gloss finish. Out of the 5 that I now have, including another from Caramel, this is an immediate favorite. I satisfied. 👍

I bought the "Caramel 26inch CT103 Zebrawood High Gloss Tenor Electric Ukulele Professional" three months ago. This has a laminated top and a adjustable truss rod so I figured it would be a nice one to learn a bit about the electric sound. I play it every day now, unplugged. I seriously love this instrument. It plays well, tunes easily, is wonderfully made and to my ear it has a nice a sound as any ukulele I have heard. I may have lucked out and got the instrument made by the right luthier with the right wood on the right day.
