So here’s the thing. I had a very expensive radio installed in my 2013 JK 8 years ago. It worked great until it stopped working. I realized all I needed was something that had CarPlay installed because that’s all I use now. So I bought an inexpensive radio that just had CarPlay for that reason. That unit was touch screen only. I quickly realized it was too sensitive and I could not easily turn my music up and down. The touch screen was too sensitive and eventually stopped working. I started shopping and wanted to find the same sort of setup, but with a dial for the volume control. I came across this unit and was skeptical because of the price. I decided to give it a shot. I couldn’t be happier. Not only was it a perfect fit in my Jeep without having to buy a separate mounting system, it is a plug and play. The last unit would not allow me to use my steering wheel controls for the radio but this unit works flawlessly with the factory controls without me having to adjust a settings. The only issue I had was navigating the system controls to find where to turn on the amp remote power. Once I located it and switched it on, my amp and sub woofers worked perfectly. I adjusted the factor volume to my liking and it sounds great. I only use the CarPlay function and it syncs with my phone everytime. It also comes with a back up camera that is also a plug and play. Update: it’s been a few month and I really regret this purchase. I wish I spent a little extra money and got something hung better. Camer is glitchy and the setting screen randomly pops up. The apple car play works when the moon and sun align on leap years. Customer service suggestion was to try a new phone and cable, which I have multiple times. You can definitely tell that it’s not from the US. All of the connections worked and the device was flashed for a Jeep. The only comment I have is that the camera wire is a little short. I had to use other wire to splice into the gate for added length. Also, the instructions left something to be desired. I just found a YouTube video for an ibeam camera that fit the bill. Hope it lasts! Edit: I was sent updated instructions via email but they came two hours after I installed the unit. ... show more

Bought it for a quick fix. It randomly turns up whenever it wants too. And after about a week it doesn't work with my steering wheel.

Great customer support We’re able to help me solve the problem on the configuration. Installation was easy (I did need to buy a RCA adapter for the speaker outs) Plug and play with what came in the box and no need to configure steering wheel controls. They work. Apple car play works wireless. It takes a bit to connect but works very well. Using the cable is a lot more stable however. Screen is a fingerprint magnet and not very good when the top is off. Despite the fingerprints. I am giving it five stars because it fits so well on the dashboard. It looked OEM after installing it (see picture) ... show more

It works pretty good. I use Waze, Spotify and Sirius XM on it. Spotify picks when it wants to play through the Apple CarPlay and Waze gets stuck sometimes as well. Other wise they work fine. Waze keeps up good with your location and speed. I did notice a difference in sound but I am not sure on how to play with that stuff and it can be adjusted. Pretty simple and easy to use if you can read instructions or at all. The touch screen is spot on. With the way it sits in this truck it’s not curved towards you so sometimes you think you hit something but in reality you didn’t. Overall it’s a decent product for the cost. There are many other options for these trucks running a lot more money that might be flawless. I don’t know. I know that this isn’t bad for $150. You get what you pay for. Also this does not have a cd player. Knew this going into the purchase just another reminder I guess ... show more

Cool product description but I will never know how or if this functions. The first unit was obviously returned by another user as there were fingerprints all over the touchscreen and the packaging was unsealed. Arranged for the return and ordered a replacement. The replacement appeared to be unused and I installed it in my truck. The unit was a gorgeous fit and would have looked better than OE, but alas, it would not power up. Returned it for a refund. The manual is useless. It is a leaflet and the phrasing is in comprehensible. ... show more
