This replaced our queen mattress in our camper perfectly. And is a great improvement! Surprisingly firm, yet just soft enough where you need it. We sleep much better now. There was no noticeable smell, and it filled out to its full 10 inch thickness in less than 24 hours. The zipped on cover is nice. As far as cooling effect, I can’t say. It doesn’t sleep hot, but I doubt it really does much on that subject. Regardless, we’re very happy with it.
