As the owner of an older Ford, this 8-inch upgraded car stereo truly made my car feel "young" again. Overall, I'd give it a solid four stars. First, its CarPlay and Android Auto functions are excellent; both wired and wireless connections are quite stable. Navigation, Spotify, phone calls, and messages all work smoothly on the large screen, making it feel like I've upgraded to a new car compared to the old factory radio. The screen brightness and touch sensitivity are also better than I expected. The Tesla-style UI looks quite modern and isn't too bright when driving at night. The included backup camera is also quite clear, certainly much safer than having no camera at all, giving me more confidence when parking. However, installation does require some patience. I spent several hours doing it myself, disassembling the original dashboard, connecting the wires, and installing the frame. It might be a bit challenging for beginners, so I recommend getting help from someone with tools or experience. While the features are comprehensive, the Bluetooth occasionally disconnects, but reconnecting is quick, so it's not a major issue. The WiFi can connect to a hotspot, which is convenient for downloading maps and updating apps. Volume control and track skipping via the steering wheel controls are fully supported, which is a big plus. Overall, this car stereo offers great value for money; it has a nice interface, rich features, and the upgrade is very noticeable. The only thing to note is that installation might be a bit complicated, but it's definitely worth it once installed – my old Ford instantly feels like a "new car."

The Bluetooth is honestly the worst part of this stereo. Every time the truck turns off, it disconnects from my phone completely. When I start the truck again, it rarely reconnects automatically and sometimes Bluetooth disables itself for no reason. I’ve had it take up to 10 minutes just to find my phone again. Meanwhile, the stereo endlessly plays the same few demo songs while you wait. It works eventually, but if you want something that connects quickly and reliably, this may get very irritating.

Would give this product 0 stars If that was an option, the installation process was not an issue. Follow the instructions, pretty simple, but the Finnish product, it's terrible. The android auto screen has the resolution, a 2005 phone waste of almost seven hundred dollars in my opinion

I installed this car radio in my 2009 Ford Edge, and it’s completely changed my daily commute for the better. The touchscreen is bright and responsive, way more intuitive than the old factory unit. Bluetooth pairs instantly with my phone every time, and calls and music sound noticeably clearer. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work flawlessly — I love being able to use navigation, messages, and music straight from the dash without plugging in a cable every time. The interface is easy to navigate even while driving, and everything feels modern and smooth. Installation was pretty straightforward with the correct dash kit and wiring harness — it slid right in with no gaps and looks like it should’ve been factory‑installed. Welcome to another of my radio reviews. Vehicle it's for: 2010 Ford Edge. Fit in the dash with no issues. Carplay speed of achieving connection: Okay, takes about 30 seconds from turning on the car. Android Auto speed of achieving connection: Also okay, takes about 30 seconds from turning on the car. Display: bright enough to combat sunlight, but color washes out a bit, and there is some glare. UI responsiveness: Quite poor. But it's affordable and upgrades the look of the car enough that it may be excusable for your needs. DSP/sound quality: Average, not as good as stock unit, muddier with less defined treble and more chaotic mids. The sound adjustments are buried in menus and too complex to use while driving for quick adjustments. Installation: easy, included all harnesses, and Youtube tutorials for the car aren't too hard to follow. Ownership duration: Installed for over a month, works great so far. Overall: it's probably good enough for most people.
