It is plug and play and it does work. Volume is glitchy on the low side as described in other reviews. The eq is not great. The lows are great but you can’t adjust it out of the lows. I’ve tried every setting and can’t get the tone I use to have with stock radio. It is functional and for the money well worth it. It’s nice to have car play and updated google maps and Waze on the radio. I would say interface is good as far as connection with WiFi and Bluetooth. Sometimes glitchy but always connects. I would recommend, just don’t expect perfection.

I just installed this in my 2012 Silverado this morning. And I can say it went really smooth. The features are great and works perfect with Apple Car play. My steering controls work as they should. It literally took longer to get the trim off and old radio out, than it did to do the install. Only thing I wish I could find is an online manual for it. I'll definitely recommend to others.

Purchased this unit for a 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500; installation was straight forward and mostly plug and play, there were a couple wires that needed to be connected. Once finished the volume setting was way too loud, reached out to technical support. They assisted with adjusting the factory AMP setting down, as it was set at 100.
