I bought this mount to use in my Camaro. A good mount needs to hold onto the AC vent and the phone well enough, if it doesn't do both of these jobs then it's not useful. This one can do both! The fins of the AC vent in my car are thick and a mount I bought previously didn't work well because it only used friction to hold the mount. This one on the other hand has a hook that goes behind the fin of the AC vent, and you tighten it to secure it well. On top of that, the phone holder itself is strong as well. I was worried at first because it doesn't have a "base" for the phone to set on as it only holds the phone from the sides, but it does decently well that the phone stays on the mount despite driving over bumps and bad roads haha Highly recommend it! ... show more

I used to have another product for holding my phone in my car but it was magnetic and often caused the phone to fall if you went over a big bump. This product is great because it grabs your phone and adjusts to the size (which means you can use it with so many different shapes and sizes of phone) and it attaches smoothly where you want it. I also like how you can easily adjust the angle of your phone without detaching it from the holder.
