This product was recommended to me by a friend and I was a little bit skeptical about it, being so small and light weight. But seeing this jump starter in action changed my mind. Left the light on in my F150 V8 truck and killed the battery, hooked BRPOM up, waited for the beep and the steady green light and it started my truck with no hesitation!!! I have been having issues with a rogue CD player in my 2007 Pontiac G6 GTP that randomly decides, in the middle of the night, to continuously attempt to spit out a stuck CD.... that is not even in there! So lately, more often than not, I go down to take off, rushing, because I'm always late for something, only to find that my battery is dead! Before buying the product, I was going through the rigamarole of unhooking and unscrewing my battery from its housing in my car, lugging it up a flight of steps, and then waiting HOURS for it to charge up on my battery charger... which I bought under the impression that it would Jumpstart a car.... but alas...it did not. This product, however, does, and it makes things a hell of a lot easier....and quicker! I've never used a jump box before and was kind of nervous to screw it up and electrocute myself... but this deceivingly diminutive jump box couldn't be easier to use and it has safery features that protect you from hurting yourself. The only reason I gave 4 stats instead of 5, is purely because I used it once to jump my car...and then used it again as a battery pack to charge a set of earbuds and yet this interaction alone, took it from 4 full lights, all the way back down to one... I expected a bit more power from this item, but overall, this is a great addition to my car care kit, makes rough mornings quicker, and is extremely easy to use for any level of car maintenance know-how and experience. Used the smaller one of BPROM when I ran a used car dealership, I used it way more than anyone ever would for personal use and it never let me down. It even started a diesel box truck in 30 degree weather. Since then I decided to buy the larger 3000 and have used it twice jump starting some coworkers vehicles at work and it worked flawlessly on a V8 and then a Toyota 4 cylinder. 5.0 liter v8 in work van. Battery not entirely dead but not enough juice left to crank it over. Put on the fully charged jump box. Very good clean battery connection and FAIL Multiple attempts. After each attempt and entire blue light disaaperars. There’s only 4 blue lights. Blue lights represent charge level left in boosters battery. Horrible. Weak booster. Failed me the first time I needed it most. DO NOT RECOMMEND. ... show more
