So far I love the camera, good picture, smooth recording, has great durability on rough roads, and easy to connect. Only installed the front camera in my truck. Bought one for my wifes truck (for safety), well I bought a new truck so I was going to put my camera in the new one but good lord, I don't know what universe the 3M tape is from but I can clearly say, that camera is not I repeat is NOT going anywhere. I have tried for the last hour to remove it but I just gave up and ordered a new one.

Rates 5 stars so people will read. Set up (at least for the front camera) was simple. But in order to get clear video footage and other essential features (ex: license plate reading), you have to pay for a VIP membership in the app. Also, when you download videos to your phone or Google Drive, there will only be a black screen. So the only way to show footage if you need it is directly through the app. I don't like this at all. I can deal with the sneaky membership add on, but to only have footage be accessible through the app is crazy, especially since it crashes so much. In the event of an accident, I'm not even sure if you could send footage to your insurance company as the screen will be black. This camera has so much potential but due to greed it's not the most user friendly on the market. I'm considering returning it because without the membership it's essentially useless, and even with the membership, not being able to download footage on your phone ALSO makes it useless. It's so unfortunate because the camera actually has a nice design and wasn't difficult to set up.

I only had one problem with this product after the install the display keep going blank after a few minutes. I emailed customer support and they responded the next day telling me how to fix it. the screen saver was set for a minute and would cause the display to go blank. I changed it to off and now its OK. Thanks customer service for the help and its a great dash cam.

Great camera with clear video. Works very well and being able to see the front and rear at the same time is a nice touch. It is easy to install and has ample cord length for juat about any vehicle. I have this camera in 3 vehicles and definitely recommend!

Fantastic technology. It is especially nice because I paid and audio place $75 to install it so it is a very trim job. 4K, GPS, and driving information is stored on the video. I like that in a accident it will detect the collision and lock the video so it can't be erased. I bought one for my wife too.

The camera and recorders both work real fine!! Very clear and sharp video. I took 1 stars off.Because I can't get to player to work properly with the PC App. It only shows Street names are in chinese. It never shows the MPH. You can read license plates and Street signs easily! So it is very crisp. The installation was super easy on my 2017 4 door, F150. Plenty of cable for the power and the rear camera has properly enough to reach the back bumper, which I may attempt some day. For now it's on the back window. I wish I could get the maps on the PC to work. Night vision works surprisely well! All and all it's a bargain and we'll worth the money. I will probably by another one very soon.

This device is so good that it is scary. You plug it into the cigarette lighter outlet and off it goes. The images are sharp, and somehow it knows what the time is, where you are, how fast you go. You can even set it to alert you that you are speeding towards a much slower time object. I purchased it because a friend got randomly accused of a hit and run damage that had not happened. I leave it on while I drive and use the backward facing camera to help with backing up into parking slots and when deciding to change lanes in dense traffic. It stores your recordings into 1-3 minute clips and you accumulate a to of them until it loops and overwrites the old ones. I haven’t figured out yet how much video coverage fits on the memory card it comes with. It seems to be plenty to store many of the short 20 minute clips trips I usually do. The iPhone app worked right away after connecting it to the camera. You need to purchase an additional kit to keep the camera powered when you park. That could be useful, but I’ll probably don’t go that way. Maybe having the camera alone (even when switched off when parking) deters some people from messing with your car. Installation was a breeze and largely self explanatory. The software interface that you command with a few buttons on the camera works well too. No wonder nobody can hide from such cameras anymore if such a quality and so many capabilities come at such a low purchase price point. I got a second camera for our other car. Big brother is watching you!

the front camera works fine (at 4k), crisp (on daylight). at night the license plates are barely noticeable. the back camera is useless, the definition is very poor. the included software is very bad (gxplayer), so watch the videos in better definition, a better player is required (like vlc), it can't access the GPS data, but at least the video is much better. is nice to have an integrated GPS. The colision detection mechanism, at the default level (medium) is too sentity. every bump in the road was detected as a colision and started the "emergency" recording function. I still have to test other functions, like timelapse, but overall the camera works good, and for the price it's ok. The instalation was easy, and the cable lenght for the back camera is long. The included charger doesn't have a passthru connection, so I had to buy a USB-A to USB-C 3m cable to use that instead, and I connected it to one of the USB ports of my car, so I didn't loose the 12v connection that I needed for other stuff. One thing to mention, that I didn't know and I couldn't find any information, it is possible to remove the front camera from the mount point, usefull when one don't want to leave the camera in the car when parked on the street (where I leave, it's very possible they will break my windows to steal the camera) The included electrostatic film is useless, I have to install it directly to the winshield.
