I used this on my 2011 Prius to change the back rotors and had to use it to compress the calipers. This tool worked extremely well and could be flipped to fit two different-sized caliper pistons and the pins that fit them, which was very convenient. It worked flawlessly. I had one before by another company, and it would always slip off and wouldn't stay on the caliper piston. This one stayed right on there, made the job so much easier, and the fact that you can flip it for different sizes means it can be used on many different vehicles. I'm impressed ... show more

This is a well made tool and does the job. Sort of. I bought it specifically for use on my Pontiac Solstice. The part the has the pins to engage with the piston to screw it in, didn't fit. I have an adjustable caliper tool from Performance Tool that uses a standard 3/8 drive. This Tool has a 3/8 drive (close) for its caliper tool. Unfortunately, its actually larger than 3/8" and didn't fit my adjustable caliper tool. I adjusted the square 3/8" drive with a grinder and made it fit. Without this tool, I many times cannot get the pistons to retract even when turning the piston. With this tool putting some pressure on the piston while turning it, makes all the difference. If I could make some recommendations to make this a 5 star tool they would be, 1) Make the square drive standard 3/8" drive 2) included another piston tool plate to offer more calipers for this tool to work with Quite honestly, those would be the only 2 changes needed. ... show more

It doesn't fit , it's close , but no cigar, the pins are too thick.Not even going to line up with the holes, i had to grind the pins down so it would fit , barely ,,, pay the money, get a better tool.And when you're done with it ,put it in your cargo area by your spare tire

I have a 2016 Mazda 3 iSport, it worked for it but with some hassle. The piece that best fit the piston was a bit too large and the tool itself was a bit large to fit between where the pad sits and the piston on the more worn brakes making it somewhat difficult to compress the piston. The part does work and feels solid, but can be hard to use. I've used some that you can rent from part shops and those are considerably easier to use since they have a variety of heads to fit the piston. I would probably recommend spending a bit more to get one of those kits if you plan to change your own brakes regularly. ... show more

Did exactly what i needed it to do on my 05 honda accord coupe v6 manual 6 speed. If you replace brakes periodically as a diy it works great. If you do these daily look for a more professional tool.
