This is a pretty good standard low profile light. It was very easy to install (screw the back plate in, connect the hot and neutral wires, twist into place). It's quite bright for such a small light. Maybe even a smidge brighter that I would want to see for this light. It would be great if you have a high ceiling. I have a couple of small complaints. One is that I have a normal fixture box in place and the two bolts that come with it are just a bit smaller than the holes the box has for mounting these fixtures. Are these bolts not a standard size? That was quite annoying. It also comes with some drywall anchors, but the holes are not far enough out that they miss the box completely. Ultimately, I used regular drywall screws and angled them out. Bit of a pain, but nothing a regular handiman doesn't run into in every project. I put it on the neutral white (4500k), but it's still pretty cool for my taste. A little more like an office environment than I am used to. I switched to the 3000K warm white, and it's better, but a little too warm. I guess I wanted like 4000K? I can't say I agree that this is high CRI, but that's hard to quantify without testing equipment. The pattern of the light is also more direct than I would prefer. It illuminates the whole room, but it casts harsher shadows and puts more of the light directly under it than the dome-style lights that it is replacing. I am not sure to what degree that trait is inherent in this type of light, but it's not my favorite. It was very easy to install and very simple. It is quite bright. I am having a little buyer's remorse about the color and the light pattern, but I can easily imagine folks who like and prefer these three colors and the illumination pattern. If you have high ceilings with lots of these types of lights, I think this would be very good.

I wanted to replace the ugly light in our utility room. This was the perfect size. Installation was straight forward. The included base easily attached to the existing ceiling box with the included screws. The wire nuts made quick work of connecting the wiring. The light must rotate to lock onto the mounting plate. Pay close attention to what direction it needs to be turned! For a 9” light, this puts out an amazing amount of light and is much brighter than the old fixture. This light also seems to be less shadowing; which is great. There are three light color (kelvin) settings and the tiny three position switch is located within the recess on the back/top of the light. These must be set before the final mounting. Warm white, Cool white & Daylight. For the utility room we are using the Daylight color since it is brighter or sharper. The warmer colors would be better in an office or living room where a harsh-bright light would be overpowering. My wife loves having the bright light (Daylight color) in the laundry room and it provides more light into the pantry! Win…Win… I am pleased that I found this LED ceiling light! Thanks! MY PERSONAL COMMENTS: I am an approved Amazon Vine Member. I ordered one of these lights just to check it out. I have a large room with two ceiling fixtures, so I replaced one of them. The photo shows the difference, I hope. Bright, white, clear light compared to the yellowish light from the old one with incandescent bulbs. It was reasonably easy to install, but we do have a lot of DIY experience. I think maybe the pictograms might cause a rookie to have a bit of trouble interpreting. Once the instructions are clear in your head, however, it goes up easily. Pros: Bright clear light Unobtrusive in appearance Well packaged Reasonably easy to install Cons: All-plastic Looks a little cheap when you unbox it Does not sit 100% flush on a heavily textured ceiling Would I buy another? Yes, absolutely. This light fixture seems to be a good value, for very little money.

The Zemty LED Ceiling Light is pretty flush with ceiling. It is held up by 2 screws in the base and the light twist on like most smoke detectors. The distance between the screws matched the existing box in the ceiling making it easy. The parts are included for connecting the wires and appropriate length screws. There are 3 settings for the color of the light, from a warm white (in picture) to a cool sunlight. The cool sunlight is typical LED bright sharp light and the lowest setting for warm white is closer to a standard lightbulb, which is good for night people that do not want a sharp contrast. The wattage is the same regardless of color setting. The switch is on the inside, so it has to be twisted off the ceiling to change the color setting. One thing to note, the flush flat light is more directional. It is different than the hanging light it replaced that shined light in 360 degrees, so the Zemty LED light creates shadows.

Can't beat it for this price. It is very easy to install and comes with anything you might need. In my case I replaced an old light fixture and did not need the accessories since the mounting points of the old light were a perfect fit for this light. It looks stylish and sits nice and flush against the ceiling. I like it that you can adjust the color temperature. In our little hallway I chose 3000 K and was surprised how bright this light is! Instructions are simple and clear. Nice little detail: the mounting plate has two slots for the wire nuts so they are not in the way when you assemble the light fixture on the mounting plate.
