I'd like to make a suggestion. I've been perusing battery jump starters for some time now. The reviews and ratings are all over the map. It doesn't matter what manufacturer or price range you are dealing with. I've seen crappy reviews for the most revered and costly units and the same for the cheapest entry level units. It doesn't matter what price range you are dealing with. It's a complex world when dealing with compact lithium batteries. You can buy a nice $180 battery jump starter that may be there for you when you need it or not. Or you can do as I have decided to do. I have purchased several affordable battery jump starters from different manufacturers. Combined several affordable Jump Starters don't cost anywhere near as much as one of the elite models. My theory is that one of the cheap jump starters will be there when I need it as opposed to relying on just the one expensive high end unit. Keep in mind that the battery you are trying to jump start has a limited lifetime and the portable jump starter you are using has a limited lifetime. Regardless of whether or not you ever use the jump starter it is going to die. That’s just the reality of battery technology. That's what batteries do, they die. The basic concept of the Jump Starter is that in the unlikely circumstance you experience a need for a jump start that this thing will bail you out. You'll need to decide where you spend your money.
