The media could not be loaded. This is my first time using one of these smart chargers. I'll tell you right away that I really like it. I love how small and lightweight it is compared to my old "dumb" charger. It is super simple to use. You connect it to your battery, plug into mains and select the mode (default is car). When the battery is done charging it will automatically stop. The temperature outside was in the low 40's and the charger did switch itself to winter mode. My battery was at 12.2V and it took around three hours to charge. The charger has a fan inside and it kept the charger cool the entire time it was on. To get it into trickle mode you have to select motorcycle/trickle when the regular charge is complete and the display reads "FUL". If you just select motorcycle/trickle from the start it will just charge and stop. The manual doesn't tell you this. They should have just made trickle it's own separate mode in my opinion. I did not test the repair function. I only have a few minor cons. The cables are short. The entire shell of the charger is made of what feels like cheap plastic that doesn't inspire much confidence should it fall. The manual is the typical hard to understand, translated from Chinese to English. Overall, I really like this little charger. It's simple, it works and the price is great.
