100/100 I have a massive battery charger/maintainer in my tool shed . . . but that doesn’t help if I’m out in the woods or traveling out of town. Now, I have THIS is my truck and don’t worry about needing access to charging capabilities. In fact, if I’m camping, I have a generator to power the charger. Another nice feature is the ability to properly charge LiFePO4 batteries. This allows me to use this charger to also charge and maintain my solar batteries for my camping/field power setup. This may seem like a lot, but I also participate in amateur radio events, so the ability to do power gymnastics in the field can be very helpful. I also live in a hurricane prone area, so a multi-function emergency kit in my truck just makes sense. You never know what’s going to happen. Let’s just say I’m a belt and suspender man. Ultimately, is it worth the price? Absolutely!

This battery charger does the job. It seems to be "smart" enough to not overcharge and blow up the battery, and it feeds enough current to the battery to get it up and going in a reasonable amount of time. This is handy because I was using a much larger unit (so large that it has wheels for you to push it around) to charge my car's batteries when not in use for a while. This is infinitely more portable than the old one I was using, and it is able to do the job while taking just a little bit more time than usual. I was also able to charge a deep cycle RV battery with this, which is good because I thought the battery had been discharged for too long and I was afraid that I'd have to buy another one (they're expensive!). Fairly pleased with this little unit. If anything goes wrong in the future, I'll for sure revise my original thoughts and will tell all. For now, it works just like I need it to, and it is an inexpensive and portable solution to an annoying battery discharge problem.

This little plastic charger is replacing a decades old 10A charger that is larger, metal and much heavier. And it kicks it b*^#. I used it on my tractor which hasn't gotten a lot of use due to the ongoing drought conditions. It annualized the battery's condition, performed it's tests, brought the battery to full charge and did a final test of the condition of the battery. If I were to keep this attached to battery it would sense it's condition and do a trickle charge to maintain the battery's charge state. I do wish that all of the cables were longer as some situations would benefit from an increased length. Also, don't loose the manual or you won't know what the heck the codes are that display on the screen.

This battery charger is so much smaller, lighter and cheaper than the one it replaces, that I wondered if it would really do the job. It does. Charging was very fast, and it was easy to select the correct mode for charging my motorcycle battery. The battery was already partially charged, but it still topped off very rapidly. I also appreciate that the charger automatically runs a 10-minute test when charging is complete to make sure everything is okay. When the test is complete, the charger automatically stops and displays "Ful" on the readout. I'm impressed with the versatility and the built-in features of this unit. I haven't tried them all, but I have no reason to doubt that they work. The instructions are actually usable, and provide a good overview of the different modes and readouts. I think this is a great charger, and I recommend it.

I gave this charger a real torture test on a deep cycle battery that was flat, and had most of its fluid missing. I topped off the cells, and then tried the 16 hour repair mode. Although it did not fully bring back the battery, it made it somewhat usable, which is a bit of a miracle. I then used the standard charge mode, which delivered a charge in a good time frame. I like the small size, and the integrated fan to keep the charger cool and reliable. On a battery which hasn't been abused, I think the repair mode could make a major difference in extending its life.

So the unit worked fine on a car battery, it does go through it's own process automatically and was able to detect the battery voltage and type without a problem. It's currently showing that it was about 80% charged and is charging it. The 2 complaints I have are the cables are kinda short both the power cord and the wires for the clamps, this isn't a major issue just a comment. And the unit feels like it's bulkier than necessary as in the case feels like it's partially empty inside based on weight vs size. Again that's just opinion I didn't open it so it could just be cooling fins filling it. But overall the unit works as expected and it's inexpensive.

More compact than most chargers, plenty of smart features, one button and go. It identified a riding mower battery as a motorcycle battery which is fair enough as the same unit will work for both and charged it perfectly, then sat there maintaining it. Couldn't ask for more, superb product.
