The listing shown here is vague, as are the included instructions. Here are some more in depth details based on my initial brief observations/testing I bought the version with the "controller". This just gives you a volume knob, access to DSP presets, ability to select source input, and navigate the built-in media player when playing from an attached USB drive. The "controller" is NOT able to manipulate any of the DSP settings. The interface and graphics are generic chinesium. I have seen similar if not identical graphics/structure on many other bluetooth devices and you probably have too. This unit has a built in 4ch amplifier IC; TDA7851L which has pretty decent specs on paper. It can be controlled by the DSP in tandem with the first four RCA outputs. It also has a CS3817BEO amp built in for the "center channel" output. I cannot figure out what the purpose of this center channel amp and outputs are. There are no settings for it in the DSP, although I have not done much thorough testing on this part yet. The app that controls the DSP portion is called "BTS880" and is only available to load via a QR code in the included instructions. It's not listed in the googleplay store or online. Same for the PC software. As far as I can tell there is not much difference in functionality between the android app and the PC interface. There is no Apple software available. I will update this review later after I have done some more thorough evaluating. Sofar I am pleased with this unit at the $70 pricepoint.

For some odd reason the RCA level inputs only output sound when the DSP is in hi level mode which makes no sense. Hi level is for the built in amplifier, which I am not using. If there’s a firmware update, please let me know.

My Initial impression is that the device does indeed boot and function. The software is usable, however it is not fully translated past the surface level. I tested on a pc power supply and a midrange speaker to verify internal amp worked. I will update with how it performs once connected to signal and amps. I will note that it does indeed not come with any form of mounting hardware or attachments points. I will be likely to zip tie the chassis to a piece of wood and attach that under my dash…unit feels beefy and sounded okay as I played with the software which does function. Controller seems a little unnecessary as it doesn’t do much.

Potentially one of the best affordable DSP's but it lacks the ability to use a 48 dB slope. In my specific setup with two sets of Alpine Type R-S65C.2 carbon fiber components, the 48 dB slopes wirk best due to the way the speakers are set to only play certain frequencies and still blend together well. But also, a 48 dB slope works best as an LPF for a sealed sub enclosure.
