It's not special or fancy. Scan the qr code to download the pc software. It's not the easiest to use, but it works and for the price, it's hard to beat. Didn't use the phone app.

This DSP is an incredibly powerful tool for upgrading your car's audio system. The level of adjustability is absolutely off the charts. It is very customizable and packed with a massive amount of features—honestly, there is a good amount of settings I don't even know how to use yet! My absolute favorite feature is that you can adjust each output entirely independently, allowing you to dial in the exact soundstage and time alignment for your specific vehicle. When it comes to the sound quality, the results are simply amazing. It completely transforms the listening experience, and the overall build quality of the unit feels solid. The ease of use is also greatly enhanced by the Bluetooth control, which makes tuning from the driver's seat a breeze instead of having to lug a laptop into the front seat every time you want to tweak an EQ band. There are a couple of minor drawbacks to be aware of. The physical mounting options are not that great, requiring a bit of DIY creativity to secure it properly. However, the footprint is not too huge, so if you have the space, it can still easily be tucked away in the dash area. Additionally, while the input options are decent with RCA and high-level inputs, I really wish it featured an SPDIF connection for a pure digital signal path. Despite those small critiques, the value for money here is absolutely amazing for the sheer amount of audio processing power you get.

Out of the box this unit is very nicely built and cleanly tailored. The unit comes with the DSP, 2 wiring harnesses (1 for the center channel outputs and the other for power, inputs and all other outputs), a USB cable for programming the unit via computer, and a basic documentation booklet. The booklet has a QR code via which to download the software. So to test the unit out, I connected a 12v power supply (the one I used happened to be 3amps) to the power/acc lines and ground and hooked up a 8ohm 50watt speaker to one of the output pairs (in my it was front left +/- but it can be any). For input I decided to use my phone via Bluetooth. Once I powered the unit I was able to easily pair my phone to the unit (Bluetooth ID was "DSP_Play"). I popped on Amazon music (Iron Maiden if you were interested) and everything worked exceedingly well. The sound I got right out of the box was clear and crisp and with the 50w speaker pretty loud! I then installed and launched the software on my laptop connected to the DSP via USB. I was able to easily "link" to the DSP and start adjusting all parameters. While I was impressed by the DSP itself, I was blown away with the software. The program allows control of the 8 output channels over 31 independent frequency range breaks (from 20Hz to 20kHz), with frequency, Q point and dB levels for each changes le via sliders. They also have preset low pass and high pass filtering for 3 different filter types (Butterfield, Bessel, Linkeitz-Rikey). All of this can be applied per channel which is assigned to a specific speaker. The software conveniently displays a picture of a car with the speaker visually highlighted that you are currently applying filtering to. In addition to the above, you can click and drag any of the low pass, bandpass or 31 individual frequency breakers and create very complex frequency domain maps for each channel (see pic). The only criticisms I have for this unit are: 1) the documentation is just passable and needs to be enhanced (I'm decently skilled at this stuff and made my way through but for someone not so equipped this might feel really complex); 2) while you have the option of switching languages of the software from English to Chinese, there seems to be an oversight where the channel name drop-downs are always in Chinese regardless of the language switch; there are only two mounting holes on one side of the DSP - unfortunately there is no mounting hardware and no indication in the docs of what size screws to use. The closet I got was somewhere between an M6 and M8 screw (not sure if it an M7 or if it is SAE). Otherwise, this unit is relatively easy to use, solid quality build, very functional software and a great value for the money.
