The H2O Glass Select Rapid Boil Kettle stands out for ease of use and versatility, with its direct pour function, adjustable temperature and cordless design. Direct pour makes it easy to fill the kettle with water without having to remove the lid. With multicolor LED temperature indication lights, there are five presets to choose from: 110° F (green), 160° F (blue), 175° F (yellow), 195° F (purple) and 212° F (red) – the right choice for any type of tea, or for other uses such as pour-over coffee or dissolving yeast for home baking. I love this teakettle; you can easily see the amount of ounces you are putting in, it heats to 110 degrees for making bread as well as proper temperatures for various kinds of tea (each one with its own led color lightup). It is easy to clean, you can fill it with one hand because it has a little trap door in the lid to let in the water. It feels right in your hand and empties quickly, which I like much better than the gooseneck ones. It doesn't smell like plastic, which the one I bought before for nearly twice the price did. nice and large, couple good and bad things... we love the temp setting selection -very cool... the not so great is the constant beeps it makes during mode changes or operation ( which is not a huge deal) BUT the top is not a "flip top" but you have to completely which is odd.... led lights are kinda cool and the form is attractive ... show more

My last electric kettle lasted 9 years, which is a pretty good run. But it was stainless steel and the fill level indicator was under the handle, which couldn't be seen while holding it, so this time I decided on a glass kettle for easier viewing. This does a good job at heating the water, a max fill of cold water takes about 9 minutes to come to a rolling boil as stated in the description. And I have to admit --- I like the LED lights around the base with a color for each temperature. It also looks nice on my counter, something that isn't always a deciding factor to me, but it's a nice perk. Two things keeping this from 5 stars. First, the stainless band around the bottom of the pot with the Capreso logo isn't fully attached. It's attached where each end meets the handle, but otherwise it's loose. Doesn't affect functionality, but feels sorta cheap. The second is a bit of a bigger deal. I wish the handle was more ergonomic and comfortable to hold. With a full pot it can be unwieldy and a little cumbersome. I've had this just over a week now and I'm happy with it, but I have a pretty good hunch I'm not going to get anywhere near 9 years out of this kettle. ... show more

This is a great tea kettle. It heats the water quickly. I like the different colors for the different temperatures. We just heat water in it so cleaning is a breeze. We just wipe it dry.

This item was purchased a week shy of two months ago, and it has stopped working. It will no longer heat water. There was no product support for the item. I will not be purchasing another.

    • Great tea kettle
Excellent kettle. The glass makes it easy to see the water boiling. The preset temp settings are ok. Don’t really use them. Heavier than a steel kettle, but the extra weight makes it feel more substantial. The handle is easy to hold. Away from body of kettle so you don’t accidentally burn yourself. The lights are cool. Easy to see when kettle is on. I definitely recommend this,but don’t be taken in by all the claims of this and other electric kettles that they are the quickest,fastest. All the kettles are 1500 watts and all heat just as quickly. Do appropriate the easy fill. ... show more
