Ok so...I wanted reasonably priced barstools for my first apartment so not really looking for anything super luxurious. Found these and when I got them I had problems with the assembly. The directions have no words just pictures which are fine (im smart enough to follow directions) until I got the the "G" piece - it didn't really tell you where it went so i just left it out. When i went to put the screws in the holes they didn't like up with the holes in the stand and I was only able to get 3 to go in. When I finally somewhat had the chair together I tested out the hydraulics - the chair went up but would not go down! At that point I just had to send it back. Very disappointed - its simple instructions if it would have actually worked and the holes lined up but it doesn't - maybe i just had a faulty one. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

So everything was going smoothly until I got to step 3 letter G. The package gave me 3 washers, I guess in most cases an extra one would be useful if I lost one, but the fact that I only used 1 of the 3 is mind blowing. Not only were the instructions confusing but the holes under the seat and the stool did not line up. There's only 3 screws instead of four and one less washer. I paid full price for this design of a bar swivel chair and it's not completely put together. This is super aggitating.

I have read a lot of other reviews on this stool and in my experience I did not have any of the same problems. I in fact liked this stool so much I came back and bought another one to have a matching set for my breakfast bar in my apartment. Things I love about these stools: Easy to clean, I Clorox wipe them down every night to get all the kid grease off them Adjustable height No more banging on my granite counter. since the chairs a cushion they do not chip the counter when banged from side to side they look great! No cons for me I think they are well worth the price. 10/10 recommend

I love that the height is adjustable to get me the most comfortable position at the table. I use this for soldering and assembly work at my bench. It's the most comfortable stool I've ever used, but I have to keep my feet on the footrest for that to happen. If I try to put my feet on the floor, the corners bite into my thighs. If I sat with a better posture, that probably wouldn't happen, but I'm me. The cushion looks and feels really nice, and having the back is a relief for long hours at the bench. I love that I can just spin on it, as that's something of a stress reliever for me. The assembly was very easy. It came with an allen wrench to screw the 4 bolts to the chair, and it even came with one extra. Everything else just slid together, and it works great. Overall a great stool. Highly recommended.

This stool is pretty light, which speaks to the quality. It seems well enough made, good welds and secure seat covering. The seat itself feels small. I feel like I could fall off the front if there were not a bar or table in front of me. The pictures only directions are a bit ambiguous, so I wrote asking about the placement of two very thick plastic washers. They wrote back within an hour, asking for photos and a parts listing copy with the "missing" parts circled. I wrote back and requested that they forward my email to someone who could speak fluent English as I did not have any missing parts. They have not written back at this time, two days later. I wondered if the thick washers were to go on the front screws to tip the seat back a bit to help with the falling off feeling. That would make the seat not fit flush with the mounting flange, so that didn't seem right either. So, at this point, I'm not certain if I have it assembled correctly or not. The plastic floor protection ring was out of place upon delivery, but was easy to put back and seems to be holding its place. It does make the stool slide easily on short nap carpet. The pneumatic cylinder works well and offers lots of adjustment so the stool can go from table to bar or hobby work bench. Choose to buy this based on price, features and aesthetics.

I got this CangLong Mid Century Style Adjustable Swive seat to use in my shop while at the work table. I had a stool I was using but it didn’t have a back and wasn’t that comfortable. I got this seat and the 1st thing I noticed is how lightweight it is to pickup. You sit down on it and it goes down and then it comes back up. It’s a smooth up and down motion. Other then this seat being comfortable it’s also adjustable and swivels. It’s sturdy when you are sitting down on it. It doesn’t move around or anything when you reach for stuff or shake. The round platform bottom gives it a nice sturdy foundation to sit on. All and all I’m happy with this seat. It’s just what I was looking for in my shop.
