Yeah idk about the non-slip foot. Coz when I do place it on the ground and stand up, it slips. Luckily, it goes in the direction of where my cabinets are so no damages. At a step up ladder, it's comfortable and lifts me. My foot on the steps does not slip, but the whole ladder moved ahead. So be careful about that. The feet on the stool are NOT RUBBER as the seller advertises. The feet are hard plastic, which is actually quite dangerous because it will easily slide on hard floors, causing you to slip and fall. I used it on my LVP floors, and found that it didnโ€™t take much to cause the feet to slip. Other than that, I do like the compact design. We use this step stool at least 10+ times everyday to get over our apartment railing. (LOL - it's a long story - it's a way easier way to take the dog out than the front door of the complex.) Anyways, our former step stool could not stand up to the high traffic and crushed under the weight. This one has held up well. We also appreciate that it does not have the top handle of the stool obstructing the top step (as stools purchased at Home Depot do - we had to return one because of that). My only complaint is the price. I'm always looking for a bargain, and I don't feel like this was one. However, maybe you get what you pay for. It's a quality stool. ... show more
