I got this to install in an RV, after all the brand name is Camplux. However, it is not suited for that for a number of reasons. First it requires 240V. Secondly it is bigger and heavier than I expected. So not for my intended use. I will install it in a seasonal home. For now I just put it thru a test regime. As I mentioned, this is not light, and that is a good thing for home use, as it is constructed solidly and with good material. It seems to heat water very quickly. Not instantaneously, but no long wait, since heater is probably close to your point of use. The interface on the heater is intuitive, and probably did not need to read the instructions. ... show more

very simple to install. currently installed in a weather proof wash rack in the barn for boarders to use. heats up pretty quick and honestly doesn't draw a lot of electricity. FYI it'll say 35AMP, means 40 for American electrical standards.

The installation is easy enough and the directions are easy to navigate. The water is instantly hot it does 1.8 gallons per minute. I would recommend this water heater for the quality and cost
