I ordered this and received the two boxes on June 28, 2024. Put together on that day. The frame that holds everything up was bent, but I got it together. However the door doesn't shut correctly and it looks wonky. Reached out to Camp Chef for guidance and after sending pics and proof of purchase, on July 10th they agreed to either give me $150 store credit or send me a new box 1 (frame box). I chose the new box because I wanted the $500 griddle to look and function like it was designed. They sent confirmation and an order number. Since then, 6 weeks ago, I get the runaround when I reach out to customer service and can see they have them in stock on their website. Website showed in stock last week again so I reached out and didn't get a response. Reached out again this week and the latest response today is another 2 weeks. Does the griddle work? Yes it works, mine doesn't get as hot as others, but it works and that could be due to the wonky frame. Owned by Vista Outdoors since 2016 all products are made in China and it shows. I do have a Camp Chef SmokePro DLX Pellet smoker and a sear box that I purchased in 2018 and it has performed flawlessly over hundreds of cooks. I WILL UPDATE AS THE EXPERIENCE GOES. UPDATE. I DID FINALLY RECEIVE THE REPLACEMENT BOX A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO (today is December 21st 2024) AND ASSEMBLED THE NEW FRAME. IT DOES GET HOTTER AND THE DOOR WORKS AS INTENDED. ... show more
