Description

Camco's Portable Refrigerator keeps your food and drinks cold while on-the-go. It is ideal for road trips, RVing, camping, boating and tailgating. Electric powered, the cooler plugs into standard 120V AC outlets and 12V DC vehicle outlets for superior, regulated cooling. It features dual zone cooling with two internal compartments that allows you to independently cool and freeze at the same time. The temperature can be adjusted between -4° F to 68° F and has two cooling modes: ECO and MAX. A LED control panel provides a digital display that is easy to read and adjust. For nighttime use, interior LED lights allow you to see your cooler contents in limited lighting. The cooler is smart phone compatible, providing remote access via the mobile app. Bluetooth capabilities allow easy connectivity. This polymer cooler has reinforced exterior corners for durability. It has (2) wheels and an extendable aluminum handle that allow you to roll the cooler for easy portability. The cooler has a 75-liter storage capacity that accommodates up to (114) cans. A removable wire basket provides maximum storage space for food and beverages. (2) drain plugs (one in each compartment) release excess water for easy clean up. A 3-mode low voltage protection feature for 12V DC outlets helps prevent dead car batteries or enable a deep draw on dual batteries.     • Camco used to be a pretty good product
I bought this really neat portable cooler/freezer ac/dc for camping this year. It worked very well for 1 day. I performed some simple tests to pinpoint the problem and found the brick transformer was dead. I contacted Camco and got the run around because they had never sent individual replacement parts in the past and after taking several weeks to get tge warranty registered and a claim submitted I’m still waiting for a simple power supply block. I’m at the 2 month point now and in trying to find out where the new/replacement power supply is I was told I could drill several 1” holes in the cooler/freezer as well as the power supply and send Camco pictures of what they call “field destroy” and they would send a new one out to me, the entire unit. They can’t find/ship a power supply and they want me to thoroughly destroy an entire unit and they will send me a replacement. Does that make sense?? ... show more

    • Seems to work well but the interface is not intuitive
This seems very well constructed for the price. It's not metal on the outside but that makes this more portable with the wheels and handle so that is a good design compromise in my opinion. The two separate compartments work well to have either a refrigerator section or freezer section or both with the separate controls. I liked the internal light in each compartment as well. The doors are easy to remove to clean or reverse the swing direction to fit your needs. I purchased this to use in the back of my F-150 hybrid with the 7.2kw propower outlets to use on road trips and that works amazingly well on 110V. It is recommended to precool this prior to adding food which is good advice. This is a big unit and not one you want to pick up too often but the wheels and handle make this bearable to move from inside to outside. I removed a star since using the unit is not very intuitive and you will need to refer to the instructions to figure out what to press to get to different options. Overall, I'm impressed with how this works for about 1/2 the price of a "name brand". I will update as I get more miles on but so far I'm impressed. ... show more

The 75 Liter Dual Zone cooler/freezer arrived with the plastic hinges torn on both lids. There are 2 small plastic hinges on each side of the lit that are nearly strong enough to support the lids when open so it tears the thin plastic around the hinges. Really poor design. The freezer did a poor job of freezing and keeping things refrigerated at the same time. They sent me a return label immediately after I received it. The really unfortunate part of all this is that it has been a month since I shipped the product back and I still have not received a refund or heard anything from the company.
