This fit perfectly on my '90 Prowler. Instructions are printed on the box. It took me about a half hour to install, but if I had to do it again it would probably take about 10 minutes. The plastic is flexible and sturdy and it comes completely assembled. This will save you a couple trips up and down the ladder: I used new screws (#10 x 1/2" stainless sheet metal screws. 1/4" would be better). I used a 10d finish nail to push the hinge pin out. I also put a little lithium grease on the nylon bushing on the crank arm. Other than that, all I needed was a screwdriver to do the install.

Replaced disintegrated old vent covers on camper. Replaced 2 in less than 5 minutes. They seem good for the amount I paid. They fit properly. Waiting to see how long they last.

This lid fit fine, hinges lined up. Its made up of the same lower quality that everything else is on an RV but not over priced like your typical RV part. I'm sure it'll gold up just as well as the OEM. The corners are squared instead of rounded but that probably doesn't matter.

Perfect product. I crimped the very end of one side of the hinge to keep the rod from going out and put a sheet metal screw in the other. Worked perfectly for my 89 elite camper

I have a 1978 Winnebago Elandan 2. THIS FITS THE LARGER 15" x 15" OPENING OF OEM VINTAGE WINNEBAGO ROOF VENTS! Only caviat : I had to drill out rivets and remove hinge from lid and from hinge from outside of metal opening on RV roof. I replaced that with a set of off-the-shelf stainless door hinges from home improvement store. It worked! But required some elbow grease and know-how. I refuse to pay $93 for an OEM part only available from Winnebago!

These fit the hinges perfectly but you will have to get some small sheet metal screws to lock the hinge pin into place. Bear in mind that the vent lid is actually a generic lid with a metal hinge riveted on to match the fixed hinge on the trailer. The contour of the vent doesn't exactly match the seal on the fixed part of the vent so some air could still enter at the corners. I don't see this as a problem since the vent edges turn down enough to prevent any water from running into the vent. These polypropylene vent lids are a lot cheaper than the polycarbonate, I hope they last. I am not sure what material the old ones were made of but were probably original on my 1988 trailer. They were cracked and disintegrated when I dropped them on the ground. I am happy with the Camco replacement lids that I purchased and would recommend them to anyone needing replacements who doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg for the polycarbonate ones. I took a star off for not providing the little sheet metal screws to retain the hinge pin.
