the most difficult thing about installing a cover like this is making sure you have the right style and model before you begin the process this fit my frame perfectly and was installed in less than 10 minutes. It took me 2 days to figure out which would be the right cover, but once I figured it out the rest was a piece of cake so do yourself a favor make sure you order the right style replacement cover and you'll have no problems with the installation. The ones that claim to be universal did not work for me. And for what it's worth, the universal ones were more expensive too.

CAMCO #40153 RV Vent Lid is USA made, OEM quality, and super easy installation. What's not to like? Just open the vent cover halfway, undo two Philips screws midway along the upper edge, then remove the old cover and metal brace by hand. Installation is just the reverse. Just remember to insert the tab on the lower end of the metal brace into the slot on the hinge side of the vent cover before putting the screws back in. Had I known how simple this task would be, I would have replaced my broken vent cover months ago.

First off this thing is not 14" x 14". The outside dimensions of this lid cover is 13" x 13". This is just FYI. There is only one size of Jensen bathroom vent, so you don't need to worry about size. What you need to worry about is the hings system. There are two Jensen hinge systems. If your RV is newer then 2004, then you have the new hinge system. If it is older then 2004, you have the old system (unless the whole unit has been replace with a newer one.) For new RV owners, this information is not readily available anywhere and they might get confused by the size discrepancy of their vent cover and what is listed on the box. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 only because I think Camco could do a much better job of describing this product. The product itself is fine and fits my new style Jesen vent perfectly.

I have been looking all over for a replacement bathroom vent cover for our camper. Our old one broke. We have 5 separate tabs on our camper where this one was suppose to connect to and our opening was exactly 12". This one fit PERFECTLY-! you have to remove the housing from the inside including the screen in order to get the raise mechanism to connect/ work. It took under 10 minutes from start to finish with a hand held Philip's screwdriver as a 1 person job. ....again if on the roof of your camper you have 5 tabs long , short , long , short , long where the old vent hooked into then this is the right one for you. If you have a long straight C shaped metal tube where your vent raises and lowers your looking at the wrong one.

This Jensen-style cover fits perfectly on a 2017 Winnebago class A motorhome. It was very easy to replace - remove 8 Phillips screws and the mechanism from the inside and then from the outside flip the old cover fully open and it falls right off the hinge tabs. To install the new cover, line up the hinge tabs on the frame with the slots on the new cover and close the cover. Then from inside put the mechanism and screws back in. Took about 10 minutes. Hopefully this cover will last longer than the original. The Florida sun damages plastic stuff fairly quickly. I've had good luck in the past with Camco products, that's why I bought this one.

The Amazon description is confusing here. The whole Jensen (since 2004) through me off and the Camco website was no help as well. My camper is 2001 but I can see the hinge was the new style. When I search the net, everything kept coming up "Jensen (since 2004). So I rolled the dice and order it. It fits. That why it gets the stars. I wish they would update with some pictures of the box and a description from the the box. But I doubt that will happen. The box is Camco 40152 which is the new style hinge. The box description is "#40152 Jensen NEW Style (beginning with 1995) Lid Assembly (with Plastic Hinge) Replacement." There are four nice pictures on the box that show you which model of lid to purchase based on the hinge configuration. I hope this help someone.

OK 2nd times a charm, first cover did not fit even after a Dremel remod - reversing the slide bracket position = fail. . Called Winnebago got their part # for our 2016 Aspect (064 470-01-70), unit on Amazon was 24.??plus 12.00 S&H same as factory direct. While reading the Q&A on that part I was directed to this Camco unit at 1/3 the price. Install was simplified by: #1 Putting the crank arm fully in up position, #2 removing the 2 screws on the slide bracket attaching the bracket to the arm, #3 mounting the cover to the hinges, #4 remounting the bracket to the cover #5 install the 1" square "U" spring slide pin lock- Done. NOTE: this does not come with the "U" Slide Pin Lock, hopefully you have yours. Note to Camco - "why not tape an extra to the cover and add $0.50?!
