READ TO END FOR NEGATIVE**UPDATED AFTER A FEW WEEKS OF USE*** This was so easy to assemble. Took about an hour & a half total and it was up and running. Great heat output. The color change flames are beautiful and it’s great sized and doesn’t seem prone to tipping. Very sturdy base. The color wasn’t as dark as I’d hoped but I expected that after reading reviews. After owning this for about a month I am absolutely in love with it! The heat output is amazing! We have a 2 bedroom, 1000sqft apartment. We live in SC & only turn on the heat if absolutely necessary & we have yet to turn on our heat. Even having this on low for an hour a few times a day has kept our apartment between 65-69° even when the days are in the 50°’s and nights in the 30°’s. The real trial will be this weekend when the windchill hits 0°. My negative lays on Amazon. This comes in THREE boxes. Total of about 125lbs. One box is over 6’ tall. We received ONE BOX. We had 3 different associates tell us that they sometimes get separated in shipping and they would be here within a day or two “We assure you and we’re sorry this happened and here’s $5 to spend on an Amazon sold and shipped product”but they have no way of tracking them. Fine, there’s even a phone number in the instructions that says delivery could be separate. Guess what’s still missing almost a week later?? Those 2 boxes. An amazing logistics associate finally gave us a replacement order & sent it via 2 day UPS and we actually received all 3 pieces at one time ON TIME. ... show more

Be aware that when you purchase this, it does not even remotely match the color in the picture for the walnut one. That was a true disappointment and I did purchase some stain to get the color I want to match my furniture. It is sturdy and was easy for one person to put together. The remote could be better and actually pauses Netflix shows if I have them both running. The "fire" is relaxing and looks real. The heat is not the best but I mostly purchased for decoration. If the color matched the picture, I would have given 4 stars. The piece was also slightly damaged, which, I did not notice until the last step. To return it meant a lot of hassle and I was only given one day to return. ... show more

Delivery was earlier than expected. It is such a beautiful piece in our home, the color is a soft slate blue and fireplace gives off a good amount of warmth! Absolutely love it! Had to chat with customer service and they were so professional and helpful.

I did like that is was easy to assemble and it is solid. But the actual color, (supposed to be Walnut), is not at all like the rich walnut wood in the picture. Wood color Too light and grain is all wrong!

When I ordered this there was only 2 reviews, so with that here is what I experienced and why I am only giving it a 3 star and not a 1 or 2. Pros: Very heavy, this is a lot thicker then I thought it would be. The design and over all color is beautiful. The fireplace works perfect, I love the multi color changing backlight. It really makes our Florida living room feel more cozy and doesn’t take up the whole room. Here is where it gets tricky, Cons: The shipping box was not damaged but the top trim was broken off in 2 pieces and laid in the box outside the plastic the rest was wrapped in. (Some wood glue and time, fixed it. As returning would be too much of a hassle due to weight and repacking) so I start putting it together and realize there are scratches and scrapes all over. 🤦♀️ Again returning would take more effort then I have at this point, so I used wood markers and wood fix kits and matched the color to fix it. The whole process took 4 hours to put together except the top, the wood glue had to be clamped on all night to set. The finished product looks great, with some handy work we made it work. Over all: I would not spend this kind of money again on something that looked like it was used and broken. If you are handy and don’t mind the extra effort to make it look like it should have when you received it then this is the product for you. Next time I will choose one with more reviews and better ratings. Good luck and I hope this helps, I tried to post as many pictures as I could. ... show more

Assembled in less than 2 hours with only a Phillips head screwdriver. All parts were neatly packaged in 3 separate boxes and all pre-drilled holes aligned properly. Sturdy wood and the color was perfect. I would highly recommend this product.

So, my fireplace showed up two days after I ordered it. It wasn't supposed to come for three weeks and two days later, it's here. I was so excited I couldn't wait to get started putting it together. I located the assembly instructions and realized it was so easy to assemble I grabbed my electric screw driver and got started. First, the boxes the fireplace arrived in was extremely heavy duty and the pieces were very adequately packed and marked. I let the styrofoam pieces go wherever and tackled that with a vacuum cleaner later. The instructions were very easy to follow and it took this 56 year old woman 1 hour to assemble; alone. As you can see in the picture, the fireplace is super sturdy and the fire is exactly what I thought it would be. The only modification I will make is to paint the decoration on the front black to match my furniture. I would highly recommend this product. (The reflection in the glass is a cow skin rug) Update: 5 months later and still a 5 star product. We didn't buy the fireplace for its heating capabilities, most homes are too large for the heating element to make a difference, but the look is beautiful and the flames are beautiful.
