This set is great! Purchased for our daughter’s birthday. I originally was going to get a different set, but my order was canceled due to out of stock, so I decided one this one instead. Our daughter loves when we listen to rock music and has taken an interest in drums, so we really like that she can grow with this. Plus my husband and I will have fun playing the drums with her. The directions are not completely clear and can be more difficult when you have a toddler trying to help you install and pieces are missing, lol. The color we purchased was silver and it looks good. We are happy with the price option that was for this color compared to the others that were $50 or more. Everything was packaged well and looks great once all put together. Stool is comfortable and easy to adjust. Everything seems very durable and can handle our toddler playing with it.

Assembly was a bit confusing but once assembled the kids are loving it and making plenty of "music" my neighbors are thrilled with the amount of sounds and volume this drum set can produce. It has stood up to quite a beating already. Perfect size for children from 2 years up to preteens seem to enjoy using it. The included stool seat can support a 250 pound man, I've tested it for you. Over all good quality and value for the money. This kit is not for professionals playing an arena but is great for the kids to learn music.

The instructions for assembly are minimal a list of parts would be helpful and more detailed pictures too. Took me four hours to assemble. It's a gift so sound and use tbd.

Amazing quality. This is a legit drum kit. Perfect for a beginner but gives them a real experience with sound, set up and quality. With such a low price I was skeptical but when they arrived I couldn’t believe it! It wasn’t a toy or a poor attempt of an instrument. They are even made out of quality wood like expensive full size drum sets. Being a former drummer myself my expectations were low with this set. I can’t say enough how impressed I am with these. My son is 7 and it fits him perfectly.

Seems like a good drum set for someone beginning Only thing I don’t like about it is the material the part you hit on the drum. When you hit the drum area it makes a dent in that area of the drum. Afraid eventually it is going to cause a hole or rip and the drum won’t be any good. For the money it would be better if stronger material was used in the area you use the drumsticks on. My son doesn’t hit it hard but already dented where he has been trying to use the drum. Only played it for one week and only about three times in that week. It looks great but that is the only issue I see so far. Otherwise seems good.

First off - you need to temper your expectations with this kit. Keep the price in mind and be comfortable with the idea that this is going to be a whacking set. I got this for my youngest’s 5th birthday after he showed interest in my electric kit. This set is a great entry level kit. Just the right size and, surprisingly, well put together. The construction is solid and this kit does sound good despite the price. Having said that, I’ve played for over 30 years and I’m familiar with set up and tuning. I mention this only because, for me, putting the kit together was a breeze. Keep in mind that the snare beads are inside the drum and not outside like a majority of snare drums. You need to adjust the tension on the side for more/less snare sound. Also, the cymbals are cheap (junk may be a more accurate description) but this is also how I assume the manufacturer keeps the cost down. I would also mention that the pin designed to keep the hi-hat pedal in place didn’t fit. Easily solved with a trip to the hardware store for a thin bolt though. All in all, this is a kit that can grow with your child or something you won’t regret buying if they lose interest. If you aren’t familiar with drums and their set up or how to adjust them, always go to YouTube where you can find literally 1000’s of videos on the subject.
