I am a professional chef and calphalon has been my go-to for home cooking for years. That changed with these pans. They're cool about the first 10 times you use them and then after that they're worthless. Less than 6 months of use. If you try to sear anything at a high temp that's the last time it will work properly. You will lose some of the non-stick and their customer service won't help you either. Even if you send them pictures showing how terrible they are, they demand that you send them back and then if they decide that they're not up to their quality they will refund you, if not they will just ship you back the same pan. The large saute pan went first. A big spot right in the middle of the pan where everything sticks to it now. Right behind it was the 12-in. Didn't take long for the same thing to happen to it. I take extra good care of my pans and always have, I only wash them with a soft sponge by hand, never in the dishwasher even though they say their dishwasher safe. I won't be ordering these or any calphalon products ever again. A customer lost due to low quality and bad customer service. Good luck. ... show more

Ok so I love these pans but I had to take off a star because you have no way of adding to the set without buying a duplicate set of the same or the frying pans only. I would love more sauce pans but do not want to buy an entire new set. These clean up so easily! The ceramic heats quickly on my propane range! I cook with beef tallow and butter but when I am not, they do not stick easily! The color is closer to green than grey but they are still pretty! So far not scratching or cracking of the ceramic. These are really non stick pans. We were used to cooking with older pans and things such as a fried egg would need to be scraped a little to loosen them up. With these pans, if you move them too quickly the egg or other item can slide right out. Also, really like the strainer feature on the pots. Great for cooking pasta. We have washed them several times and everything seems fine. Handles get warm but are not hot. ... show more

I really like this set of cookware. It’s non-stick and so far, it’s proving to hold up to everything we cook. Washing up is a breeze. I use a Scrub Mommy (which I also recommend), which removes food residue easily without any damage to the finish. Heat distribution is consistent and even. Food doesn’t stick, even meats at higher temperatures. Sauces come out great. We have also finished a few recipes in the oven. Handles get warm, so I recommend pot holders. ... show more
