These are really good motors especially for the price BUT these motors do not start under pressure. I use a N.O. (Normally Open) 1/4” AC 110 V brass solenoid valve to release the air pressure as soon as the motor shuts off. I operate many of these motors. Mine have lasted many years and I’m sure they will many years to come. As long as you have some way to prevent the motor from starting under pressure. ... show more

1st unit didn't work when plugged in. Returned. 2nd unit came in multiple parts without a plug and cord. Returned it also. I have zero confidence in the brand and unit. 3rd purchase was a different brand.

It’s quiet and powerful, but it doesn’t say anywhere that you have to wire it up yourself(there’s no plug on it) and that it has a separate capacitor that doesn’t easily sit on the machine. If you want something portable like I did, look elsewhere
