Wow! I am very impressed with this espresso machine. Once you get it set up, it is so easy to operate. It is not necessary to use the Wi-Fi settings at all. A tip for anybody just setting up their machine for the first time is that you have to wait probably about 15 minutes for the water to get into the system. The machine will make a lot of noise while it is getting set up. You need to be patient, but once the water is in the system And is rinsing through, then the rest of the operation works extremely well. This is an incredible coffee machine. Yes, the wifi control is terrible, but the machine, itself, is great! (And almost all functions can be adjusted manually.) I have owned three Jura machines. I liked them, but there were often problems with volumn and temperature. I would usually get 3-4 years before sending them for repair and would get 5+ years before replacing. This machine makes the best coffee that I have ever made. I used one reviewer’s advice of adjusting the grind to a finer level; I have always used Lavazza Super Crema; and I adjust the temperature and volume ( for Americano) to the highest level. ( Most of this can be done without the ridiculous wifi app.) The results are terrific. I have quit using cream, and do add a little honey. Am drinking more coffee, and look forward to every cup. My wife loves hot tea, and the water function pushes out clean, and hot water easily. Water function can also warm coffee mug, if you desire even hotter coffee. I don’t know how long this coffee machine will work, but I can buy 5-6 of them rather than 1 top-of-the-line machine, and I get a significantly better cup of coffee from this machine. ... show more

    • Motor is burned out, Terrible customer service!! NEVER RESPONDED.

I bought this machine on December 2023, and after one year and 2 months of use the motor is burned out. We performed the regular descale maintenance and never had any issue before. I contacted the seller multiple times and never received a response. Currently, amazon customer service is working with me trying to help to resolve this issue. First and foremost, it does make decent coffee. It’s small footprint and relatively easy to I don’t have it connected to an app or Wi-Fi. It seems unnecessary complicated for the purpose of making coffee, but it has that capability if you’re into complicating your life. The real big issue is defect that a lot of users have is the de scale warning system is faulty You can’t clear the damn thing once it comes on you can clean it 100 times and it will always have the idiot light on best advice. I can give you to paint over it so you don’t have to look at it because it’s never gonna shut off nothing to do whether it needs to be Descaled mine, for instance, works for seven months now with the light on all the time It’s just defective design. And of course they’re laughable. Customer service won’t do anything about it. Nothing they can do. You’ve already paid for it. You’re on your own. Bottom line makes a decent cuppa coffee, but is damn annoying. When all the little unnecessary electronic gizmos like the scale warning give out on you don’t expect more than one or two years out of. It would be my guess before it dies, cheap and ends up in the trash. Way too soon ... show more

I've had this 3 weeks and just love it. I've had more expensive fully automatic esspresso makers that I loved, but what I like better about this is the size and the simplicity. It's compact, but looks elegant compared to any of the others. It has lots of smart features. The water container isn't large, but it very conveniently opens and inserts from above. I just refill whenever I make coffee like we used to when we would make perculated or drip coffees. The pellets are easy to empty and the bean grinder seals tight keeping the beans fresher. There may be bells and whistles missing, but none that I use. The app was difficult to set up for me, but since it's been set up it works really well with reminders to fill or empty grounds etc. It would be nice to have more settings in the app, like the ability to make a personal favorite like 2 lungos and 1 esspresso, but it does let you adjust grind time and temp for the set options. I like the app once set up and I love the machine and the esspresso it produces. I definitely recommend. ... show more

Unusable for coffee or under a cabinet. While this thing looks good - it has serious issues. One, if you have overhead kitchen cabinets, you can't remove the water tank without repositioning the machine, causing the drip tray (which isn't attached) to potentially fall - or you must remove it too (quite bothersome on a daily basis). But worst, even with using the app to customize, this thing makes louse dishwater-like coffee. The espresso is OK - but not great (using Peet's Beans) - far below a Nescafe Ristretto. But if you want to make a larger cup (like a lungo), even on max settings - it's undrinkable. Yes, the price is attractive (being a close sibling to The Tschibo or other GE machines), but that does not help if you ship it back.... ... show more
