I’ve only had this for a couple weeks but it’s been really great so far. I did a TON of researching to find a phone stand that would work for filming videos of me making my wire wrapped jewelry and for doing live streams on social media. This is the one that I decided on and I’m pretty happy with my choice. The best part is that it’s an overhead stand, so when I am working on my wire wrapping, my arms or hands don’t bump into it. It doesn’t shake or wobble much at all as long as the knob is tightened where it attaches to the table clamp. This comes with an extra attachment pole that makes it about 14 inches taller but I don’t need that much height. It can be use with or without the taller extension pole. The only complaint I have is that in order to turn/swivel the stand, you have to loosen the knob where the stand attaches to the table clamp and then re tighten it when you get it turned to the position you want it. A little inconvenient, but much less of a hassle than some other stands I’ve used. It also comes with 4 little clips that you just snap on along the stand to tuck your charging cord into so it doesn’t hang down. I’ll see how this stand holds up over the next few months and I’ll post an update if there’s anything worth noting.

This is essentially a desk lamp with a tripod attachment on the end. If that's what you're looking for then this is a good price. The cell phone holder that it comes with is not sufficient but since it is a universal style tripod thumb screw, you can attach your existing cell phone holder. You do get a decent range of motion. I would advise anybody buying this to play with it before doing any sort of permanent mounting (I know it's meant to be mounted with a clamp). That brings me to the other issue, the clamp is not sturdy enough to hold the device without damaging whatever you screw it to. Since I was using it on a workbench, I just drilled some holes through the back of the clamp piece and screwed it to the side of the bench and it worked fine.

I have been using this mount for over one month. It always holds my phone firmly while I'm on a video call or when I want to record a video while I'm cooking. It can fit almost every table in my home and I can easily change the height, direction, and angle. Very helpful for daily life recording.

this was something I bought her so she could do overhead shots, close-up of her knitting and crocheting, and it works so well that we just bought another one today. Highly recommended well constructed does exactly what you would need to hold the camera or lights directly above your desperate table.

I recently got into making videos about unboxing/setups and the tripod/ring light setup that I had was just not flexible enough for me. I read about these kinds of arms, so I thought I'd give it a shot. It worked out amazingly. It's super flexible for bending in different angles for close-ups, far shots, and overhead shot (say you want to record yourself using/working on something with your hands). Only downside is the actual end point doesn't move left/right (you'd have to rotate the whole arm), but other than that it's very flexible.

Just don’t buy it. Spend a little bit more and purchase one that’s better quality. I’ve have this for less than 2 months and the clip to hold your phone has already cracked just from normal use and is no longer able to hold my phone in place. Additionally, the base piece is unable to secure properly so it swivels around in the piece it’s supposed to be secured in so I’m unable to keep it in the position I need it to be in. I will say though, the purpose of what I’m using this for requires me to move the arm forwards, backwards, and side-to-side often. So perhaps if you only need it to stay in one position at all times, it work better for you. But otherwise, just spend the extra money for better quality one.
