I use this handle on my Moment MagSafe mobile rig. I love it’s sturdiness and that it can be adjusted several ways to fit to your hand. I feel like the handle is a bit thick and could probably be slimmed down. In addition to that this handle is pretty expensive. Still a good buy in my opinion.

    • Built well but uncomfortable for my big meaty hands.
The grip is perfectly fine but I have these big meaty hands and the stem that goes from the grip to mount to the cage is never in a comfortable spot for me. I will be upgrading to the fancier and larger rotating one from Smallrig in the future but for now this will do. Just be warned if you too have giant hands. ... show more

When I purchased this I misreads the description. I made my decision by a reference drawing of this handle compared to another version where it’s tipping the scale. It definitely is light but small too. If you have average size hand in sure it would be fine. You can really notice a difference how sturdy it feels when you attach a handle. When you add a heavy lens then it may be better to go with the heavier handle to make your set up feel more balanced. I will be returning this one for a different handle from same brand because I really like the quality of there products. ... show more

I bought it to expand my Sony A5100 camera cage. What a fantastic upgrade! I also added a battery holder on top for mounting a power bank. My camera rig is pretty heavy and this handle accessory solved the problem, making the rig much easier to operate, and less shaky hand held.

This is perfect even though I ordered the wrong one, I wanted the one with the bigger screw but it still works out great, I added it to my small rig cage for my Fuji Xt4 with the Ninja V on the top of the cage and this is a lot easier then carrying my big gimbal around for simple shots

When it comes to camera rigs, for me, weight is a huge factor. Most of my work with weddings and usually the entire wedding so a lightweight camera rig is essential for 6-8 hour jobs. Don't let the weight fool you, it is a very sturdy and nicely made piece. The top section of the handle is metal, and this is where you will find three 1/4" screw mounts conveniently placed for various accessory add-ons. Below the metal portion is the majority of the handle, which is hard plastic with dual rubber sections for excellent grip. Another nice feature is the fact that the handle is essentially ambidextrous because the part that fastens the handle to the camera cage is able to be unscrewed, with the included tool, and flipped around to allow the handle to be mounted on the right or the left side of the camera cage. All in all, this is a great product for the price point and is the perfect add-on for any lightweight camera rig build. ... show more
