I have a few handles like this and 1 that costs 10x more than this one. The expensive handles are big, have a cool hardwood detail, have all kinds of nice adjustable features to angle your hand just so, however they're bulky and more fussy to attach and in my case don't fit the rig. I admire the simplicity of this while remaining rock solid and secure. Connecting to cheese plate or in my case a simple L bracket is really easy and fast. The one adjustment I need this handle provides -- I can slide it up and down. Thoughtful of them to add a few 1/4-20 holes, a loop for a strap, and a magnetically secured adjustment tool. Love it! I’ve been using the SMALLRIG mini side handle on my camera cage and it has made a noticeable difference in how comfortable my setup feels. Installation was simple using the dual 1/4”-20 screw mounts. Once tightened, it feels very secure with no wobble or shifting, even when moving the camera around. The grip itself feels solid and well built. It’s compact, but still gives you a much better hold on the camera compared to just using the cage alone. It helps a lot during longer shooting sessions where hand fatigue can become an issue. I bought to use with a MagicRig camera cage, which is much less expensive than the small rig cage. I was concerned that these side handles might not align with the available holes in the off brand cage, but they do! These are fantastic for the price. Easy to assemble and install. They’re a little small in my hands, but comfortable (and aren’t the smallest out there). These were the most affordable for the style, I bought two (one for each side).
