It could be mounted with HDMI Lock 3676/1679 to protect HDMI cable and cable port.

This cage fits well. I also got the HDMI lock for it which is absolutely necessary to make sure cable don’t get bumped or removed. Plenty of mount points and well made. I always enjoy using smallrig products. Only negative is that I wish the camera wouldn’t wiggle loose from time to time on the 1/4 20 mount. ... show more

I have never been so hyped about a cage, but this one does it for me, it gives my camera a great style and functionality. I like Smallrig because their prices and attention to quality is always better or on a par with more expensive rigs. Highly recommend it!!

The main reason I got this rig was that it was a single mold and not multiple pieces. Thats is a great feature so I can place my Sony in the cage with just the one set screw on the bottom. It fits the camera nicely so that I can get to battery compartment and ports. The only negative is that the camera (no matter how tight it is) will always have some play/movement. Previous rigs I used are molded to the shape of the camera where this is more general shape BUT MADE FOR EACH MODEL-I dont want you to think this is a "onesize fits all" cage. I bought this cage for two reasons. One to shoot vertical videos on my RS2 Pro and second to have protection and the ability to add weight to my set up when mounting it on my car rig set up. Exactly what I wanted. My third cage from smallrig and I have no complaints, I normally do not post review but I had to do it since there are some comments saying that the cage does not fit properly to the sony a7iii that it is not thru, the cage brings two screws that goes one under the camera and the other on the side if you do not put it correctly clear that you will have issues, only for those who think use it on the sony a7iii, I was hesitating but I had to pulled the trigger since I only have good experiences with Smallrig products. ... show more
