I was skeptical but this was perfect with my Osmo Pocket 3 on a couple of short hiking trips. I bought it to use at a tradeshow and didn't because I thought it would look cheesy but boy was I wrong. It keeps the camera focused straight ahead and it really works great. I was shocked at how great the video came out from hiking and I now know I missed out on some amazing footage from the tradeshow because I just didn't commit to putting it on and using it.

It does the basics, but it's a big miss that the base can't rotate. I used it on a sling bag, although the camera can try to stay horizontal, it's limited in movements and would sometimes fail to stabilize.

Velcro and hardware is mostly good, but the holder is flimsy plastic and I wouldn't personally trust it to not break at drop my DJI at some point. Also, it feels unstable when using the added length of the battery pack handle. Overall good value for being cheap, but I don't feel confident with the plastic holder/hinge not breaking at some point.

I use this attachment with my Osmo 3 (DJI) camera, and I absolutely love it! It easily attaches to my Deuter day pack, and once it's set, I can just "set it and forget it." The stability is impressive too as I've never had to worry about it falling off, and when positioned correctly on the backpack strap, it stays secure the entire hike. If you're considering this, I highly recommend just going for it. My husband is already eyeing a second one so he can attach it to his own backpack! It's a game-changer for hands-free filming while hiking.
