This is part of a gizmo-pile on my cycling helmet that lets me use a cylindrical sideways-pointing flashlight there. It does the job. Have the clamp mount that came with a GoPro Hero 5 Session, but were disappointed when the mounting was inflexible such that you'd be taking a video sideways? Look no further, this is the piece you're missing. Converts 90 degrees such that the clamp mount clips into your helmet and the camera points straight ahead.
