I had similar lights 20 yrs ago & lined my driveway & walkway with them. I bought these to go around 2 large oval flower beds in my front yard. It’s hard to get the first light or two into the holders, but it’s a snap after. It holds the larger lights about 4-5” off the ground. I put those up last & my neighbors went out of their way to come over & ask where I got them. My beds are large & it took 2 sets for each bed. I Love the way they look & just ordered more for next year! If you changed all the bulbs to clear, it would be a stunning way to line the path to your house or to set off your backyard patio! Plus, we live near the beach & when we get heavy rains, any lines that sit in water blows the GFCI. These posts eliminate that! (system did not allow me to add photos.)

Item arrived on time and setting it up is a breeze. Initially I had trouble attaching the spikes, but then I figured out you need to leave some slack on both sides for you to pull the bulb into place it goes quick. I ordered 3 twenty bulb sets and my front pathway and surrounding flower bed is lit up. The spikes are short, about 6 or 8 inches so if you have a raised pathway it might not sit above the pathway. I had to spike it in deep because I was worried it might pop out.

Purchased two sets of these lights to adorn the driveway of the house and it looks fantastic. The lights are very bright and look great. Cannot comment in regards to durability since they have been installed for about a week now. Very easy to install just time consuming. Pro tip: when pushing the stake into the ground, grab the body of the lights not the bulb... The price for these is quite steed for sure.

There not LED. Which is okay but installing just the stakes in them to line my drive way the bulbs were going out. The pack does come with a extra one. But during the process of putting them in ground 4 more quit working! They look good lit up but I can not imagine there going to last long outside if they were going out while put them in the ground. Very frustrating for what they cost. I also run Phillips led strands that were cheaper then these that work flawless.

I bought 3x strings of these in 2020. 3 years later, I’m at the point where I need to replace 2-3x of the strings, but I’m so happy with them overall I don’t mind. The lawn guys and mail men occasionally accidentally kick the bulbs so hard that the plastic base breaks, so replacing the bulb isn’t possible. I use a screw driver to premake the hole before sticking them in the hard ground which makes installation a breeze. When I store them at the end of the season, I leave the stakes attached and just stick the bulbs upside down in their holder. Usually takes me 20 min max to install 3x strands this way.

They were cute while they lasted and they were very easy to put in but they did not last through a full Christmas season with almost half of the lights going bad. So the quality is not the best
