I just put it together, and it's really well-made. It's not one of the cheaper (less-expensive, or quality wise) ones on the market. The piece that goes under the mattress and inserts into the upright tee-shaped piece was malformed on one side and I had to man-handle it with some high-leverage pliers to reshape it. Other than that- all good! The assembly instructions are good (and even large enough to read comfortably). The part about the strap is sort-of thrown together, so requires a little problem-solving to understand. But whoever designed this did a very good job, even if manufacturing and QA aren't 100% (and practically can't be at an affordable price).

Very sturdy rail
This assistive rail is very sturdy. It was easy to assemble and has height adjustments for thicker/thinner mattress's. The motion activated light has 3 on modes: always on, night motion, & all time motion. The light is rechargeable and uses standard USB-C. It is held in place with two magnets so you can easily take it off to recharge. Overall this is a great product. The only thing I think could change is the cable length. A little longer would be nice but that’s just me being picky.

A helping hand
Got this bed rail for my mom. She recently had surgery and needs some help getting out of bed. This rail was easy and fast to assemble. I didn't permanently fix it to the bed - I just slipped it between the mattress and box spring. It's very sturdy and hasn't budged. There's a nice grip on it so you're not grabbing onto a metal bar. The light is a great idea (though I haven't actually attached mine yet). This rail isn't just for people who've had surgery or elderly people - it's for anyone who could use a hand getting up. Great value too.

Excellent bed rail
This rail is very helpful for anyone needing stability getting out of bed. It also helps to keep the patient from falling out of bed. The directions tell you to attach it to the frame but I have found it works very well just pushing the supporting bars under the mattress. It’s much easier to change the bed by removing it and replacing it when the bed is made.

perfect in every way. Fits between bed and nightstand, with motion light!
easy assembly, sturdy, perfect height to fit by my shoulder, between nightstand , yet still reach over for drink and through for things flat on table. The little light can dim low and set to motion, lights up entering the room and getting out of bed. Perfect assist device.
