I received this as a gift and so far it works well but the the air hose gets extremely hot if you have to put a lot of air in the tire. As I was airing up my tire this evening I could see the unit smoking. I waited for it to cool down before I charged it.

I bought those for my son-in-law, who is not mechanical at all. couldn’t take a lug nut off if you gave him the wrench and showed him how but he can actually use this. two thumbs up

The cables are extremely short and need resetting often. Not strong enough for truly dead battery.

I ordered this to keep in my car as my son already has one for his car that he has had to use, and I figured it wouldn't hurt, especially if I am out and about by myself. I had actually chosen this one for the air pump in case I had tire issues while traveling, but we ended up needing the battery jumper component more than anything else. My son had traveled for a gig and was gone for a week and during that time, his car battery died but his jumper/charger was in his dad's car so he called to ask me what to do. I had just received this one in the mail and thankfully had left it in a place he could get to it easily and I told him to go ahead and use it. He never plugged it in to charge, it did have a slight charge already, and the engine cranked over on the first attempt. Needless to say, this will remain in the trunk of my car just in case, and I have since purchased other ones for another vehicle we use from time to time. Highly recommended for anyone with a vehicle!

It worked like it was supposed to for about three months and then it just stopped charging if it worked like it was supposed to I would recommend but since I stopped working after three months, I would definitely tell you to shop around
