I used only the tools it came with but I would have been easier if I had used my own Allen wrenches and things but I didn't feel like looking for them. Very sturdy and love the design. Not the easiest to put together but we made it. There’s are photos only and lots of parts. Took two adults about 4 hours. My five year old loves it.

Oh my gosh — this bed literally took over two hours to put together! When we started, we thought it would be a quick and easy setup… nope! It comes with well over 100 small pieces and screws, and the instructions are 51 pages long. They aren’t the clearest either, so we ended up having to take pieces off and reattach them several times because they were on backwards or in the wrong place. The bed was purchased for my soon-to-be four-year-old, and while it does look nice once finished, it was a huge hassle to assemble. It’s also smaller than I expected, and based on how complicated it was, I don’t see us ever taking it apart — she’ll probably just move to a new room when she outgrows it! The screws are also a major pain — once you screw them in, if you need to remove or adjust anything, they strip easily, which makes reassembly almost impossible. Overall, it’s a cute and sturdy bed once it’s up, but I’d only recommend it if you have a lot of time, extra help, and plan to keep it in one place for years. Otherwise, be prepared for a long night and some frustration! ... show more

My daughter loves this bed however when building it 3 pieces where very damaged I messaged them and Amazon messages did not let me upload the pictures. The fedex guy damaged my box and was careless in delivering. When we got the box I was worried it had been a return and resend I feel I may have been correct with the damaged items. ... show more

Give yourself grace when you’re building it but otherwise my son love it’s. When the directions say only tighter 75% definitely listen or else you’ll be mad when the wood pieces put in.

Very upset customer, first problem was Amazon never picked up my daughters bed from busyaeh. Now busyaeh was so nice they reached out to me and sent the bed via fedex thank you so much! But when I put the bed together a part was very bowed and it’s so bent the middle bar doesn’t connect to it he other side. And 2 of the screws doesn’t fit ... show more
